Hi, herea a guy from Gracia neighborhodd. I don't know how i find this, but that guide was really good at his job. Just two things to say, the most important speech is in 22:30 minutes. As a catalans we love our culture, and this coulture had been banned and covered by too much other dominants cultures as she said. The best example is, lot of people com here pretending to drink sangria and seeing flamenco, and non of this is from here, it's beautifull, but not from here. The second thing is you should try to lear some words in catalan, and your guide too. One of the main things, cultural speaking, is our language and we are loosing it from spanish, so its really important for us. Just to say hello, bay, thank's,... And the last thing, gracia is not a bohemian vibe neighborhood, it's a place of strugle and a place builded in the backs of working people, with strong cultural associations, historical comunities like the gypsies (with his rumba catalana music), and a lot of social fighters and organisations, this is important because thoes are the things that makes Gràcia different, not the new artists galleries, stylish places and shops for tourists. Your guide did well with the food, so you have a little more context.
