I spent a few months in Tema many years ago and Ghana is a beautiful place. Jollof Rice was the most delicious food and I cooked this hoping to remember that flavor from when I was much younger. It is truly delicious and it brought back so many great memories

This is a great recipe. My only feedback is to tell us the recommended time to cook the Jollof. Also, letting us know the amount of ingredients required for each step will be beneficial.

Ghanian jollof rice is the best i don't understand some people why they're jealous because someones food is better it's like i would say american rice is better and know that is isn't true that the best rice is cooked in california for example i have tasted nigerian jollof rice many times and i also have tasted ghanian jollof rice but it's taste diffrent even the rice it's more delicious i cook always ghanian jollof rice in my house it's so tasty
@ThecakeAmbiance4 ай бұрын
No need to compare both countries. Jollof rice depends on the cooks, and not the Nationality. The method Abby used here is almost the same method Nigerians cook their jollof. The only difference I see is the use of beetroot, blending of the bay leaf and the type of rice. Nigerians use parboiled rice in their recipes. I have tasted good Ghanian jollof, and great Nigerian jollof rice too.

This looks delicious ❤ I want to really try it. However, it is hard to find red bell pepper in my area. Even if find it, it is very expensive. Can you make a jollof/ stew recipe without red bell pepper and beetroot. I can't wait for the jollof recipe for food vendors
