Indian Street dogs are okay with Indian foods. So, don't worry much. Village dogs will even eat curd rice. But in cities the need flavored rice, like biryani, egg rice, fried rice etc..

We’ve actually seen people are more aware of dogs which are pets on a leash than stray dogs. From our personal experience from when we had a dog couple years ago. They’d walk circles around us to get as far from our dog as possible, yet they didn’t have any issue with the street dogs. ross i think is ras means gravy in many indian languages ... opposite is without gravy often called sukha or plain ... ras in ras-gulla means syrup ... ras-gulla is a sweet like gulab jamun only it is white ... gulla means ball ... but ras in curry context or as here in savory dish context means gravy ... so basically ras mean anything you would slurp ... rassaa (pron. americaa) means gravy and you can sometimes request more (or second helping) of it by asking *could i have some (or two spoons of) rassaa please?* ... that is when a curry or ross omelette has separately prepared rassaa lying in counter ready for second helpings ... but not if he prepares rassaa *in situ* for each freshly prepared dish ... for in situ rassaa prep you could ask before hand if you prefer extra gravy in your curry / ross omelette ... so ermmm it seems this is goanese / konkani innovation of turning basic omelette into some kind of bhaji (as in pav bhaji) ... interesting

it is ravaa (pron. americaa) which is wheat semolina ...they used it to coat chicken pieces before frying ... like you have breaded (bread crumb coated) fish etc ... may be beaten egg was used so that it sticks

FYI: rava is the Indian term for cream of wheat. Good to see the family enjoying street food. Goa is known for pork sorpotel. Try it out if you get a chance.

So very safe to eat Pani Puris at this place. *2. Sardar Pav Bhaaji - (area - Tardeo in Mumbai)* - The best and the most buttery Paav Bhaaji on Planet Earth. *3. Bade Miyan - Late night place - is open till 3 am or so (area - near Taj hotel & the Gate way of India in Mumbai)* A late night place, patrons eat in their cars, but has a seating area as well. Famous for their wraps, Tikkas, Tandooris & barbecued stuff. *4. Leopold Cafe (area - Colaba causeway in Mumbai)* - Nice beer, barbecues, nice desserts. *5. Pancham Puriwala - (area - fort in Mumbai)* - 5 types of puris(bread), savory dishes & desserts. *6. Persian Darbar - (area - Bandra west in Mumbai)* Famous for their Raan Biryani. Delicious Mughlai cuisine. You'll love it. *7. Mahesh Lunch home - (area - Juhu Tara road in Mumbai)* Heaven for Sea food lovers.
