Excellent video and nice to see a happy family eating good Goan seafood happily. As a Goan who lives to eat and not eat to live need to visit this place. Such videos do creative positive publicity of Goan cuisine and the lesser known rural eating places run by hard working Goan families. I congratulate the owners of Bhumiputra and the cooks who produced such a prodigious item. For Rs 2860 the food is sufficient for a whole family. A ten times smallet thali in best of hotels in Goa cost Rs 4-600 with very small portions.

The prawns head we usually just chew suck the juice and spit it out, but its ok to swallow, the carbs in thali are usually small, you need to order just the crab dish, it has to be bigger and its one of the best tasting seafood, you can ask the restaurant staff how to eat them, cause its not easy to eat crabs. And by the way I saw you guys in Vasco eating Ros Oamlette, but could not say hello....

Crabs come in different varieties so it just depends on what crab you got! And yes in a thali, you wont get a lot of meat in a crab because a whole crab is expensive...which is a shame but it is what it is! Both crab and lobster are very different, with the crab meat being a little sweeter than lobster but lobster being more luscious!

hi......just a small suggestion....... you are munching into all these curries and delights directly..........you are supposed to eat them as sides for RICE......or else your gut may become upset with extra spicy taste cant cant enjoy full flavour. ALWAYS combine eating indian dishes with RICE or ROTI varieties for authentic indian way and healthy stomach

i have to thumb down such thali because there may be a seafood hater in party who needs some options ... call it seafood thali and have most items have some seafood but have some variety too ... also by me it is cheating if have same item in multiple bowls ... what happened? did you run of of creativity? also i liked the idea that you could request leftover packed up to carry away (somebody commented that you could) ... for 2000-3000 rupee thalis they can offer to add a few things extra to help consume leftover items like a small servings of dal rice pulao biryani (only biryani rice by which i mean rice cooked by dum cooking which is closed pot steam cooking of partially cooked rice) chutneys papads raitas kachumbars achaar ...bhumiputra means indigenous (son of soil, putra=son, land, earth, soil=bhumi) ... sanskrit word used to identify indigenous people in malaysia ... maybe this restaurant is malaysian?
