By now I have seen your 8 recipes and all on smart phones..there i do not know how to write comments so now writing on desk top..You are outstanding..and ways of teaching and telling also excellent and easy. All the best. I am one of the fortunates to have visited at least more than 300 Palghat/Kerala families in Mumbai : i was member of one Bhajan Samajam and used to sing bhajans in my student life around 1981; and have enjoyed almost all varieties of Malayalam foods. I write all the best wishes..Now I am plus 68 years; and soon i shall try learning and making Kerala foods..regards.

Since you have tried this out can you please tell me if so much hing has to be used.... I'm a little shocked cis I buy my hing from the whole sale spice market of old Delhi and this amount of hing would be used by me over a year or more....😐

@@Peacetoall06 😀 i didn't have the piece hing she used, i used the powdered one only..and just as much as she mentioned in the video and with the rest of the ingredients the amt of hing just blends well. It doesn't feel too much on the pallette

Hing seems to be a lot in the recipe. We usually use very little hing for its strong flavour. Is that ok if we use so such a large quantity of hing. Your recipes are awesome. Tq for sharing.

Hai mam,This is sambar masala.I think I prepared 300-400 GM sambar masala..so I can put that much of Hing.Not strong flavour..we can put Hing 2-3 pinch in direct sambar ..that's enough.Thank you so much for your support.
