I know in today's world everyone is a "narcissist" but I think she actually is. She's obviously smart but she thinks she's so much smarter than everyone else it makes her behavior completely reckless. She thinks people will see her letter with "WALK THE DOG" with huge letters on the top and they won't figure out that it's a code. These are investigators who are reading this stuff.

@@Aaron-kj8dvexactly! I think an official diagnosis isn’t necessary to say she’s the perfect example of what a person with dark triad personality looks like. Rare for females. Scary. Absolutely scary. Psychopaths commit murder with no remorse. Her narcissism, the need for adoration and admiration allowed her to write that cringey book. She could have chosen other ways to feed her narcissism but it takes a special kind of dark to further profit while being the “hero”comforting and helping her son deal with grief. Best example for Machiavellianism is the fact she was able to her husband to continue to consume whatever despite having suspicion, having to change policy and trust, and being sick multiple times from something she gave him!

The worst part of the letter is when she asks her brother to send pictures if her nieces (the daughters of the husband's sisters) to the media in order to show their faces the world. She admitted doing this just to annoy her sisters in law. She did not mind hurting innocent children for revenge.

Why are some people so ridiculously greedy? There is beauty in living your life, being satisfied with what you have. I naturally do NOT mean that people living in poverty should be happy with their poverty, but I really can't understand people like Kouri... She's living a life wildly wealthier than most of us could ever dream of... Why wasn't she satisfied with their family's wealth? Why so eager to have more that she's willing to murder the father of her children? I wonder how she'll get by in prison. No mansions to sell, no luxury...

Her mental state, must be very confused. To want money so bad, all of it, all the property, every thing her hubby had. And be so obvious about it. He seemed generous and she lived very well, for an ex cashier from Lowes. To kill him, and think that would work out and she would be rich beyond her wildest dreams. Eric knew, his business partners knew, his sisters knew, that Kouri was up to no good. With out make up and nice clothes, she will look just like the other prison inmates. For a long time. Their Kids have no parents.

I agree-I’ve been in various economic brackets, never wealthy but from poverty to middle class, and I’ve been happy with each one. Financial security is a good goal, but not worth killing people for. Ironically for her, she will forever be an inmate and not have anything to her name. She evidently thought she could somehow get by with killing Eric, but it appears the evidence just keeps stacking up. Allegedly IMO

Interesting that he was cynical enough to enact a prenup on the day of their wedding yet, somehow, too gullible to realize that her obtaining four life insurance plans, forging his signature to manipulate insurance stipulations, fraudulently obtaining a $250,000 loan in his name, and potentially poisoning him via sandwich were painfully obvious signs to immediately get as far away from that woman as possible.

Signing a prenuptial agreement is actually a really good idea in general and especially if there is a lot of money/ assets involved in the marriage. A prenup is not a sign of distrust in the marriage, it’s insurance that if things don’t work out (which they statistically often don’t) then it’s easier to cut ties.

@@elliedaniels2245 awesome reply! Bless you too. I just have this thing, as a single dad. When people involve kids, I lose sympathy. She wrote a book. A creepy book. And then made profit off her kids pain. I promise you, my son would pick me over anything. I'm his dad. Not just dad, but daddy. We play spiderman, video games. Adventures at the park every day, and if somebody ever took me from him, it's hard for me to imagine what his life would be like. Because I'm his world. And this woman did something very terrible. Conventional prenups exclude assets before the marriage and after the marriage the assets are joint property. I really think this marriage was doomed at the start with this lopsided prenup excluding the wife from assets accumulating during marriage. This in no way justifies or explains any harm happening but I think it argues that the marriage should not have occurred if this stipulation existed in prenup.

Also stupid if the thinks people will buy her BS story about a novel or anything that she stated. Her search results alone reveal her motive. I only wish they still used the electric chair to further send people a message that if they try anything like this they will die a gruesome death, or rather at the very least, I hope there is a special place in HELL for this person, tortured for life. I just cannot believe the audacity of her believing she can fool everyone in society because she was able to trick her husband. He must have been desperate to believe in his wife. Obviously the sisters knew better. Poor guy.
