Viking sword is crazy. Only -20 MS and is much higher base damage than the horseman's axe. Plus you can run a lantern with it for extra enchants, makes it super easy to run down enemies if you need higher mobility

Holy Light was already jank with a tiny hit box on human players. You can shoot it between someones legs and it will miss them, but with monsters and dead bodies sometimes it jumps to them when you werent even aiming there. Lesser heal works better though.

A Japanese barb playing on an east server actually is going to have a combat advantage most of the time. Unfortunately, dark and darker's net code is kind of terrible: Everything is done client side. In other words, if it appears that you hit something on your screen, the server registers that as a hit. So a high-ping barb who is primarily going to be chasing people will be hitting earlier versions of people (delayed download) while only being hittable as an earlier version of himself (delayed upload). As a ranger player, this has caused me to always stay a little further from people than I should and to lunge forward when committing to melee. Another fun byproduct of this, for lack of a better word, dogshit net code is that blocking is a complete guessing game where you can never really tell how far into an animation someone is or where he is actually aiming. Good job, dark and darker. Why I play this game all day every day I will never understand.

no it wasn't, ken got healed for a just a few HP and then took around 60% after eating the heal. It didn't save him and it didn't heal him effectively, def a miss and not a clutch.

Running gama is definitely cheating because the game is specifically designed to be dark if u cheat some way to turn gamma up to the point that u can see people in the dark the game is not being played in the way it was designed to be played by the developers aka ur cheating they specifically made the game dark and made the settings so it would be dark regardless of ur in game settings

It's sus because in these hr lobbies everyone is geared to the max so when you see players with no gear you assume cheating because they are likely not gonna be able to compete with the geared players. You not gonna pay the HR fee if you don't stand a chance at winning.

They need to add enchanting materials and stuff into highroller so everyone has a real reason to go there instead of just fumbling around winning and losing kits, but never really reaching the peak of low roller equipment. That and quests will help. Currently highroller is mostly really good geared teams who stomp any players who enter and can't keep up. If we get more game mechanic reasons besides higher rarity equipment, the average threat from the players in Highroller will drop and be more reasonable. That and I really want more mechanics so if fixing the lack of highroller players means more mechanics I get what I want lmao.

nobody plays high roller because of groups like you dropping in with full purple and legendary that play 24/7 and get wiped every game. i get wiped every game in regular by guys that are full kits even when im kitted and its not fun to lose all your gear in 5 seconds. pretty typical lobby tbh.
