I've never had pumpkin pie in my life. I'm thinking if Abbie says it's a yes I'm going to try my best to find it here in the UK. I just love you guys! I have to tell you a story about giving thanks and a tradition that began when my daughter was 5 (She now is 8). All day before sitting down for our Thanksgiving dinner, we kept telling our girl about going around the table and telling everyone what we were thankful for. When it came time to eat, our daughter didn't sit down but rather started walking around the table telling us all that she was thankful for. We now all walk around the table every Thanksgiving, each giving our thanks in turn. I love how children interpret words. ❤❤❤

I'm nearly 30 and bought a children's toy for myself yesterday. Who cares what the recommended age group is? The point is if it puts a smile on your face then you know it's right for you. Let's be real, Abbie's smile doesn't just light up the room, it sets the world on fire and if a toy does that then give the girl her dang presents!

It’s my chill part of my day! I love your family! On a side note I just started using “hands waiting” with my 3 year old(she is neurotypical) and it has been a game changer! She has a problem with grabbing/pulling when she wants something and one day I got frustrated and said “hands waiting!” And she literally put her hands together and calmed down. It was like magic!

Thank you for all you do to raise awareness. My son is high functioning and I'v learned to do what's best for my son regardless of other's input. I'm a teacher and have seen his struggles with teachers having no training and not understanding deficits since he appears "normal". Thank you for showing me how kindness and teachers others about autism in daily life makes a huge impact for everyone, especially for all kiddos with autism.
