It impresses me so much how you know what Dylan likes and what he doesn't ( the smells, the makeup etc). My boy is 2 and a half still not speaking and I just can't wait the day I will be able to fully understand what he wants and doesn't want. I am so happy I found you on KZbin, you give me hope , you family does as well. Have a beautiful day 🌷 💛💛 Much love from Canada.

Catherine Cartier : I’m grandma to a beautiful boy who will be 3 years old next month. He has receptive language skills but doesn’t speak yet. He began private speech therapy last week & will go for 1 session weekly. He also began ABA therapy last week which will take place for 3 hrs each session, twice a week. I don’t usually reply to people on here. However, somehow, your post resonated with me. I’m a Christian ✝️ & will pray for you & your son. I, too, am so very glad I found Tara’s KZbin channel. Thank you for sharing! I like what you said at the end of this video, “small bubble” “big world”, it’s very important to give yourself a break to jump out of the small bubble. My 4 years old daughter was diagnosed and I felt the world is dark , tears anytime, life changed, but my daughter needs me, I need to be a strong mom like you. Thanks again for sharing your life with us.

The start to your video was probably the realistic shit I’ve seen for ages. Finally someone who is real and true. I also wake up after my kids (my boy is 3 and on the spectrum and 1year old baby with unknown additional needs right now). I am so knackered from the day before and I just about have breakfast and shower. None of this 5am or yogi workouts. By 9am I’m dealt with at least x2 meltdowns and the stimming begins until 6pm 😭

Thank you for showing your morning routine. I just had my 3rd baby and you are showing me than yes I will be able to do it. And it’s okay to ask for help like respite care. The school run is always crazy and dinner time too. We usually have therapy after school, then we need to do the homework, getting dinner ready, bath the kids, put them in pyjamas, brush their teeth, read them a story, clean after dinner, and try to relax before bed. We are currently in holidays in Australia (end of term 3) and it’s nice to have a break from all this. I asked my husband how many times he thinks I am gonna be late for school during term 4 with an autistic child, a toddler and a newborn?! 😂 will see 💪🏽 I like your beach break after school run and I might do the same 😘 you are such a strong Mama and an inspiration for us 💙

Mornings are really tough for me , but when my husband is at work my mom comes in and takes my son to school. So I can take care of my 16 month old. That helps me so so much 🙂. Soon , I am going back to work full time , so schedule will change. Dropping my daughter to daycare then my son to school, then off to work. It will change everything, but I am already implementing little changes , so it wouldn't be so challenging when time comes. You are doing great, but it is darn hard lol

I just found your channel and I love it so much ! My 3 year old was diagnosed at 2 years old. He’s non verbal , had the worst meltdowns (head banging everywhere, he does not eat anything and I’m not kidding like nothing but oatmeal (sometimes) nuggets( sometimes) and peanut butter jelly sandwiches(sometimes) I really want to try the spectrum vitamins. I also want to try and remove casein, wheat and gluten from his diet. He’s already milk protein allergic . It’s hard on me but I try so hard. My 2 year old is going for an evaluation as he shows some signs . Idk what I’m going to do. You make it look so eat ugh. Bless you and your amazing family ❤️

Hey there. I have learned over 8 years that I need to take time for my self. When dylan was 2/3 and Luca was little I was on my own I didn’t have time to eat I ate chocolate I didn’t sleep, I had no time to shower I ended up with bad depression and after 2 years of this the doctor say me down and said if you don’t spend time to look after You everything will come crumbing down. He was right I got so sick I ended up in hospital. My routine in the morning takes all of 10 min. We all need to shower I have a smoothie because I don’t have time to have breakfast but I’m trying to do what I can for me so I don’t fall apart again. We need to try to for a walk and do the things that make us happy. How old is your child? Are they at some child care? School? Please try take some time to look after you it’s so important. I learnt the hard way. Also full disclaimer some days I don’t shower and don’t have time for this and im rushing out the door with kicking and screening kids ... so just because I don’t show this doesn’t mean I don’t struggle either. We all need to look after each other . Take care of you sending a big hug x
