I gulp water! Never any problems with hydration here lol, I probably drink around a glass once an hour. I also like it room temp, cold water just doesn't work when you want to drink fast. The best is drinking water straight from the tap, i.e. as it is flowing.

I feel like whenever I watch compilations like this I ALWAYS end up learning something more about myself. Alternative ways of doing and understanding things was never really talked about at home unless it had directly to do with reading (my biggest struggle) and it's so cool to learn that all this stuff I always did in secret actually isn't that weird.

The ones about stuff on your lips made a whole train set off in my brain. So I'm waiting for an autism diagonois (20 MONTHS!!) and I'm pretty sure I'm on the spectrum, there have been soo many things I relate too when watching these type of stuff. I never thought I had any stims though. Now I've started thinking Blanket on lips/cheek Blanket over head/body Resting cheek on my guinea pigs Stroking guinea pigs My teddy bear that I've had all my life 's ear on my lips/cheek Rubbing my thumb on my top lip Chewing stuff (bobbles keyrings and sleeves in school lol, also had a hat with pompoms hanging down that I would chew from when I was 5 ish, a bow on my nightie, fingernails too) Sucking my thumb (okay please don't judge I know it's gross and baby ish but I've had this habit all my life, I hate myself for it, on the scan when I was in the womb I was sucking my thumb and I can't stop but it's calming so yeah. Don't make fun of me) When I'm really happy or excited I squeal and flap my hands but like in front of my face. I can't control it sometimes So yeah I think I do stim. Already learnt something about my self and it's only 00:33 am. I need sleep

no need to hate yourself!! repetitive behaviors are typically self-soothing & it makes a lot of sense that one from childhood/earlier would continue to be comforting. (just make sure you wash your hands I guess lol!!) but honestly it’s probably more common than you think!

In the cups at first I was gonna pick C because it was the prettiest... then I saw how she has to hold it and I went, "that is bad... that will be much hot in the palm and... and no." Most of my mugs are in A shape. It's ergonomic, it's simple, it's pretty and it doesn't burn my fuckin' skin off.

Laughed so hard at the mugs. Searded high and low for the right material, handle, shape, lip area, and my set looks almost identical to A save that the base is not slight squared, which is unimportant to the rest of the design elements. And if you have regular mugs, the sort of which says are typically put, we are not suited. And she’s right about B… it’s tolerable.

7:26 I'm gonna answer these because no one can stop me! 1: Usually by texture. For example, I usually hate spicy foods, but I just demolished an entire bowl of something spicy because the texture was so good 2: No sock, I can't stand sock 3: SI stuff, I could buy so many piratey things 4: Microfiber. I like velvet, but when I touch microfiber it feels like the ridges in my fingers snag on them 5: Headphones, they block sound out really well 6: FLAVOUR, bland foods just aren't as satisfying (unless it's pasta, pasta is special)

I’m gonna respond with my answers too and see how alike we are :D 1. Depends on the food, I may love the texture but the taste is too overwhelming for me to continue or vise versa 2. No socks, even with shoes I’d rather go without socks (but yk, then my feet hurt so then I’ve gotta wear socks) 3. SI stuff all the way, although if there was a way to take like, 20 dollars out of it and buy stim toys I’d do that since I don’t own any 4. Velvet, idk, I just hate the way it feels 5. Headphones, they block sounds but they also feel nicer 6. This one deserves an inbetween. I love flavor, but you better believe I’ll take the bland noodles over the flavorful ones any day

1. mostly taste 2. Socks on, I don't like the feel of icky sticky fake tile floors 3. SI stuff, depending on the special interest it will probably be cards of either or both Pokemon and Yugioh, art stuff, or trying to find more Redwall series books 4. Both. Microfiber has moments where it has that staticy stick and velvet just...uuuugh >< 5: Over the ear headphones. they don't fall out as often and i feel more surrounded in the sound 6. Flavortown. one of the reasons my comfort drink is Big Red despite knowing how freaking bad it is it just tastes so good

7:26 I like interactive ones because then you get to see what everyone else in the comments put compared to you!! 1. I pick my food by taste most of the time but textures in terms of stickiness. I can’t deal with toffee and stuff like that because it’s way too sticky in my mouth and it makes me want to cry and get the offending food out of my mouth immediately. I also can’t deal with stickiness on my hands so if it’s a sticky texture and I have to pick it up to eat it like boiled sweets, that’s another reason I’ll avoid it. 2. No socks, they are the bane of my existence and I hate them. I like to be able to feel the ground beneath me and when I can’t my brain goes into that freeze mode like when you touch a bad texture but it’s all the time. I literally only wear socks when I need to put on shoes that aren’t sandals or flip flops or slip on shoes 3. I live in the UK so I’m going to answer this based on £100 since I don’t know how much $100 USD would be in pounds. Special interests because cars go zoom (one of my main special interests is single seater car racing so I’d put that money towards going to watch F1 again. I went to Silverstone last July to watch F1 and that was honestly one of the best weekends of my life) 4. I had to look up what microfibre is and I actually quite like that texture. I like kinda rough textures that I can rub between my fingers so maybe that’s why. Velvet on the other hand can get in a bin immediately, I hate the texture so much 5. My ears are weird and block up really easily so I have to wear over the ear headphones. It’s ok though because I prefer them anyway and they block out the sound better. My ones also don’t leak when listening to music which is amazing because I’m constantly terrified of that when listening to music in public places 6. FLAVOURTOWN ALL THE WAY I hate bland foods because they give me no sensory input. All I do when I eat is sensory seek all the flavours. If it does not taste of anything I do not want it. I hate shortbread for example because it’s super dry and it tastes of nothing. That being said, I do love bread on its own which some would argue is bland but I don’t think so. Pasta is also an exception, although I prefer to have it with flavourful sauces and toppings wherever possible

7:27 - i wanted to answer the questions lol 1. taste! usually the textures i don't like also taste bad, like tomatoes and seafood 2. no socks as much as possible 3. si for sure, stim toys are pretty cheap but merch is NOT 4. microfiber, but not all the time! touching it is ok but my nails break easily and snag on fabric a lot, esp microfiber towels 5. earbuds, i don't like the feeling of my ears being pressed down 6. bland unless it's spicy. too strong or too many flavors at once feels really bad but for whatever reason spicy overrides that

I was looking for one of these! I'll answer too: 1. Taste! But if it has a bad texture, I won't have it. 2. Never, I am in bed too much and when I'm not, I'm wearing slippers. 3. Special interest stuff. Especially since it has loads of stuff, since it's a pretty big thing. 4. Microfiber. Not much else to say, I think velvet is really nice if you put it the right way, I actually like it! 5. Over-ear headphones. I hate the feeling of something in my ear. 6. A lot of flavour. I like exploring all of the different flavours and figuring out what part of it they're from.

Who else related to the part around 2:00? I also really like seeing all these because I have Adhd, I was diagnosed 6-7, and my cousin, who is also a girl and 7, was recently diagnosed as well, she's on medication now which do seem to be helping her. But what bothered me was today, my mom, her mom, and our grandma were all talking about it and it just kinda urked me that they were using the terms incorrectly which could easily be pinned on them just not knowing that Adhd and ADD are two different things, my mom is always saying ADD like it's interchangeable with ADHD and hoe they said since my cousin wasn't being all hyperactive and boucing of the walls, she was more ADD than ADHD when, uh, she is a girl and it's way more internalized for girls than it is for boys so I was very politely correcting and giving advice without getting into the whole mess that this is with my mom, because I put my two-sense in too much or whatever, but I was just trying to help and offer the unique insight I have from literally being the only person there with something comparable to what my cousin has! I am pretty certain my mom is unintentionally ablist, and I want to help my cousin not have the problems I had that I have to solve by myself now because it's become a messy subject that I can't talk about without melting down! And it really bothers me how she treats ADHD as interchangeable with ADD, and as not the disability that it is, sometimes it feels like it's not a disability if it's not physical with her. Sorry for the long comment, I have some stuff to work out and the best place is the internet in my experience because my mom can't find it!
