Small spoon, small fork, and much prefer bowls to plates. Bowls help you scoop things, plates do not.

I honestly started giggling when they aggressively shook the sock at the camera, i thought that was supposed to be the funny bit until i saw the video cut to them throwing it on the ground and doing jazz hands Yes, I am diagnosed with ADHD, how did you know

Ok, I want to know. I am not diagnosed with anything, but highly sus, so I am not a good gauge pin. We need 200 confirmed neurotypical people of differing ages ethnics and genders and a control group of an assortment of crazy.

Does anyone else with ADHD and/or autism struggle with reading in the way I NEED to highlight and take frequent breaks and be deeply interested and able to connect the subject matter to my own life and experiences? Like, without connection and physical manipulation of the text to organize it, it is as good as never being read

2:26 wtf who went inside my brain and pulled this out. Anytime I use a cup, or dish or really anything I spot check for unwashed grime or water spots. If something isn't spot and grime free I can't use it.

I feel like it's a normal thing to give things a sniff before eating/using them. That's one of humans' best senses to tell if something may make them sick. And coming from a household where some members are more thorough dish washers, I'm glad I can smell that something has a hint of mold or something rancid before I give my kid a drink in a mold infested cup.

I'll be 32 this year and the fact that a lot of these compilations feel so relatable when I've never even thought I could be ND is a bit shocking but explains so much. Wow... Maybe I'm just not weird

I was diagnosed at 31, in 2020, if that helps. Sir Anthony Hopkins was diagnosed very late in life. It's never too late for a diagnosis and all the support it can bring.

Im 55 i was 50 when my #4 child was diagnosed with adhd/autistic.. guess what Took me 50 years to realize i wasn't weird and that it wasn't my kids acting like my odd ass....all of my children are neurodivergent as well. 2 grands so far diagnosed.. so it is from me..but not because of me! Actually its probably from my Dad... hes passed but before he did when my older kids where diagnosed he suspected he and i were but because we were older and learned to mask as well as new criteria and education of symptomology we didnt get diagnosed earlier. My brother is as well as his only biological child. I think my Dads patience, understanding and teaching us to use this as gifts in a way made life easier, that's not the right word but you get it, and help me make it better for my kids. We didnt know it was a "thing" he just thought we were like him so he taught us ways to deal and excel at things. Which im sure he got from Grandma. He was an only child, not by choice, so she was very dedicated but not in a smothering way. He was surrounded by cousins and other family...which now that think about it... i need to get on the family Facebook group and asks how many of us there are.. sorry tangent. Strong families and understanding families are the way to be...

It's so interesting to see comments like these cus i freaking loved that audio. It felt like a little rollerskater rolling around my brain holding a boombox and it was going around. I also love the "accapela" effect that it has cus it's only the voice that's playing and not the music (the music isn't bad but it sounds coller to me when its just the voice) anyways.. i hope the sound wasn't to unpleasant to you buys ';-;

I had to limit my social interaction outside of work to two days a week. That was my limit. Now, older, and disabled, and every two weeks is as much as I can handle. Wish I lived in the middle of nowhere so I could go outside with the guarantee of seeing no one.

Ok, I'm neurotypical but I definitely go looking for the most clean bit of cutlery or something to eat out of in most cases. The sock one, that was quite amusing to me with how aggressively it was thrown on the ground.

I’ve accepted that I *probably* have autism, and now I have moved on to trying to figure out if my mom is also autistic. An extra challenge, since I don’t know her brain, but it’s kind of fun. Also I have an autistic cousin so I know that it’s in my genes somewhere.

The one where they are talking so fast I couldn't pay attention. I gave up. They talked too fast and my brain couldn't keep up. I struggle paying attention to people anyway so that was pain I also get the eye closed thing. I also sometimes see yellow, orange and green spots and I try to make out pictures in what I see.

0:21 Friendly reminder: do not use the words nonverbal or nonspeaking to describe being temporarily unable to speak. This takes away from the experiences of those who are actually nonverbal/nonspeaking, and is also an incorrect way to use those words. Please use things like “speech/verbal shutdown,” “speech loss,” etc.

Could we please stop lumping all neurodivergent people in the same group as though we’re all a monolith? Neurodivergent people are different, both from neurotypicals and from each other. Two neurodivergent people might have barely anything in common, sometimes even if they have the same condition.
