He was in the road. The driver probably didn't expect him to come into the street. Its the Definition of accident. Both were at fault. Your son was in the road.. the driver was unprepared. Equal fault. Stop acting like his condition gives license to do unsafe things like drive his mower into on coming traffic. Didn't he see the big ass car coming?

Horrible. But he needs to be paying attention as well. If you are mowing your lawn you need to pay attention and look before you pull out onto the street in front of a car

They're trying to twist it and pin it on the car, but you can clearly see the lawn mower pull out into the street with out care or caution. A speed bump isn't going to help because that car wasn't speeding.
