Thanks Turtle amazing there isn’t a freezing mod as that it usually one of Bethesdas favourites! Looks fun for farming but I have found with all the legacies you really need a ranged weapon to tag during events as you can’t get close enough before the carpet bombers steal all the kills!

I happend to roll a anti-armor swing speed strenght auto axe. I'm going with turbo since it's clear that faster swing speed actuely works on the auto axe and dubbling the current swing speed even if I loss a little damage would be insanly effectif I think.

yes - 40% faster attack speed legendary with the melee attack speed perk is nuts. it's a great weapon - just the same issues like reach. turrets - i actually fly into the ceiling with some kinda ap regen drink/food (honey/popcorn is simple and easy) then just grind it to death - don't need much, just need to get up to the turrets. but only thing that limits our death machines is ap and closing distance. it's a really, really fun weapon :)

Turtle first of all weapon speed/swing speed doesn’t affect the rotation speed of the weapon. I’m pretty sure if you had a way to measure it you would affect the speed with which you engage the weapon i.e. the swing when you pull the trigger and swings the weapon out while the blades starts rotating that’s what weapons speed affect is the swing of the weapon likewise, if you were to use the power attack button on a controller to do a power attack with the weapon you would get damage reduction from that legendary effect, I feel certain not even testing it. They’ve had plenty of time to fix any problems and I don’t think they ever intended for you to get damage while attacking the whole time you’re squeezing the trigger. I mean that’s constant damage mitigation on demand a large amount of damage mitigation on demand. All you gotta do is squeeze your trigger, that weapon speed damage while attacking should be in the loop for that weapon or those weapons because they really don’t benefit you at all however, the thing you get way more damage when your power attack with the weapon right so maybe somebody might want to kill things instead of grinding on them, and to be fair the durability the weapon would take a lot less of a head. If you attacked most creatures that could be one shot that way instead of brining everything.

10:10 yeah this gets really annoying for me since I use for vats crits since I got a vampires crit damage auto axe and I only find it useful in first person cus of its spin up. But u will also notice that if ur vatsing a enemy/player with more health, you'll notice ur crits no longer build up while still hitting them in vats after a couple of crits and them moving. If they were to fix this problem and make it so while holding the attack whenever it's 95% hit chance even when they've moved slightly, that it still hits and builds ur crits up again and again

I have a Bloodied, dual bar, flaming Crit Chainsaw that does insane damage. I stick it in the Queens belly and spam crits and the damage is terrifying. I've no doubt that Auto Axe would be even better...

So, since the autoaxe is a atom shop item you will need to do the same actions in ALL your characters like a) apply legendary mods in order to get the desired effects and b) farm expeditions until you can get the stamps for the mod you like. The grind is real since the plans will be tied to the character who bought it and the weapon is not tradeable. Do the weapon is silent? I saw mutants do not react too much to your presence if you kill them fast.

But at least being a scoreboard plan you will unlock it for all characters on your account. Same with the new PA. Think back with the War Glaive you needed to run Daily Ops on each character (and then get caged bulbs plans) or stump up 2k gold at Minerva whenever she stocks it.

I was building a solar non PA build to do unarmed but after crafting this...yea it's autoaxe time and because of the build I could use other two hand weapons I haven't came around using like the tenderizer :)

For the event I finally just crafted my first auto axe, I through would make it legendary for faster questing these weeks and no lie on my first roll (3 star), I got bloodied, 40% power attack damage and 40% reduced DMG when power attacking wtf....

On console power attack for melee which is bashing is r1 and the standard attack is r2 which is using the saw blade. So, I am not sure how that is beneficial.

I Didn't think I would like this, my first roll was Vampires/ +1 str /AP after Kills ... As Bloody in unyielding Combat armor, I Ground up an OP boss standing face to face. it is now my Go to melee weapon.

Electrified mod will be useful on more variations of enemies, in general. Poison I haven’t tried yet, but Fire definitely adds a good bit of damage! 🔥 baby 🔥

I would have to do The Pitt Expeditions 10 to 13 more times just get enough stamps to buy just one plan. I think Bethesda could give out more stamps by adding stamps to Daily Missions/Quests & Events as well. Like 3 to 5 stamps to Daily Missions/Quests & Events. Because it would help out a whole lot. On not doing a much of a grind getting stamps.

Usually mutants caps at 25% and aristocrat at 50% with 29.000 caps . However keeping at least 5 mutations is easier than always having more than 29 k caps.

@@Klausiancliff89 I got more than 5 mutations on all my characters and I just like using mutants stuff cause I already have other very powerful weapons with the same old effects and I don't see alot of people using mutants much. I just use mutants for the fun but honestly aristocrats is actually pretty good aswell. They could be very powerful. Sometimes mutants can aswell but ofc there's always a better alternative.

@@Klausiancliff89 also most mutants weapons seem to usually benefit bloodied builds more often then other builds considering that there's a crap ton of mutations that benefit both the mutants legendary effect + a bloodied build when at low health. You get a good amount of extra damage.

@@matthewflores4183 i prefer aristocrat because it suits my playstyle better, i was a fan of mutant too. I have all mutations but empath and eagle eyes , but my vendor makes 60.000 caps or more in a day , even in the rare case I spend all my caps , I open my shop put on sale like 50-80 fluxes( which i can make in less than 40 minutes ) and I'm back having 40 k in an hour at most . That being said have a huge drawback mutant does not have , I always carry 1400/1700 weight ,I'm always overweight,because i'm an hoarder( i like to play as a merchant) .If I I didn't play like that,my shop wouldn't make as many caps and aristocrat wouldn't be as appealing. I found out that in most cases anti armor is as good as aristocrat, if not slightly better , but i guess it all depends on the weapon and on the targey . Auto grenade launcher ? I go for two shot , deathclaw gauntlet ? Aristocrat is better than antiarmor only for weak enemies or if i eat foods that boosts mellee , for my shredding minigun i go for vampire and antiarmor, my fixer is aristocrat and explosive , my plasma cutter is furious and faster swing speed .( i'd prefer it antiarmor since i only use it vs the queen ) , my missile launcher is two shot. However the weapons i had earlier were all mutants and I reckon mutant is a very good prefix for all playstyles , i once wrecked a scorched beast queen with a mutant faster swing combat knife . ( not as good as an anti armor shredding minigun but it was quite good )

Power attack for melee weapon is a different button. Why would anyone think a power attack on automatic melee weapons would be the standard attack button? I have 5 auto axes i am testing and I am not doing %40 on those. So, I would like to see your testing on that. Also on your claim on the swing speed please.

That’s the thing I’m gonna text so fast bear tenderizer doesn’t work mad consistently it’s like the park with instigator only in reverse and all that one benefit you because you get multiple heads getting bad but instigator damage on this one works just the half said you get multiple hands-free for tenderizer Jackson and usually the critters dad

Turtle instigating is only gonna go off on one attack maybe if the server lags two or three attacks so if you get the benefit of some kind of bugger exploit, then you might get something out of instigating but generally speaking that’s not that good and is going to give you a lot more damage you don’t really need it Don’t need you’re gonna run, but you can’t fit her then you need an armor, but really the only choice. The only real choice in regards to any of these grinding weapons is vampires more damage and breaks slower although I don’t know if that breaks works, but there is really no good third star Weapon doesn’t weigh a lot so weapon doesn’t matter of strength or isn’t gonna help you really at all legendary mob dies instantly when you touchdown so you’re vampires more damage is a significant increase in time or decrease. I guess to put it correctly adding more tech damage will increase your damage significantly And then you know that weapon break so goddamn fast I mean I was running back to back Atlantic City yesterday and I had to repair that like 3/4 every I was only although admittedly, I was only repairing to 100% because I have a enormous amount of repair kits For that I have been using so I’m just gonna use them up on weapons down at Carey like 70 of the regular ones so I’m just gonna whittle those down but OK from 100% I was getting shy wouldn’t go into expedition without repairing it was down to about 25% so having that Breakdown 50% slower that’s the cheapest way to extended durability. I mean it’s the cheapest durability boss are percentage based so let’s say 100 durability having a break 50% slower is like having 150 durability if you have or if you put 200% durability on it and you have 100 durability that means you have 200 durability points to lose, but let’s say you crafted well and get high 150 now $300 ability to lose when you’re at 200% right so it’s going to take longer before you have to repair it the better the durability starts with having that slower huge bonus because nobody wants to spend five points on make shift warrior I meanyou gotta have it but you don’t have it on your bill

Mini gun shredder is better than all of those weapons hands-down especially if you have a vampire bashing not especially bashing is required, but especially if you have a vampire version of it it is a better weapon. There’s absolutely no comparison problem is you can’t loot individually loot everything it’s a pain in the ass because of the ammo and it always was. I’ve been using it for two years. I always got ultralight ammo, but now that they stop the contextual ammo to make it more significant. Now you get massive amount of contextual ultralight, ammo, and running expedition is one of the big parts of it. I can’t loot otherwise I can’t shred.

I think for a few year a couple years now we’ve had a development team that is really into power armor and they’re completely overlooking people who are playing regular armor and so they make changes they don’t investigate how to fax regular armor and make sure it works properly also with regular armor so yeah phone in the ass all the time Wayfair change they made the thorn armor like that was fucking necessary

sucks that poison is incredible when the AI uses it on us, lurk queen, the new spitter troggs, an poison explosion cloud affix during daily ops. yet it's a wet spaghetti noodle when we try to wield it. Side note tested the 40% reduced damage while power attacking does technically work, its a fail one as random melee attacks an explosions can make you stumble/interrupt your attack animation ending the bonus def. better off with dps oriented legendary affects.

its looks equal to using the shredder mod on the minigun. i have a anti-armor bashing minigun, drops them just as fast as what your doing with the auto axe. i want a vampires and after over 200 attempts to make one, still haven't gotten it.

Auto Axe will do more damage than shredder , because auto axe benefits from legendary effects that boost damage and all melee related perks.

On average, if you aim for the 2 star legendary, you need to do 400 rolls

I got a vampiric bash, breaks slower in less than 10 rolls. There’s a somewhat consistent method to mess with the server RNG seed so you increase your chances of getting the 1st level star effect you want.

Turtle did you test that poison against a human target with no poison resist the damage is massive. The poison damage is high higher than the electric or the fire damage and then the poison that is really big and short so it’s like 50 or 60 over five seconds a human targeted and by human target mostly thinking that they meant that weapon for PVP, things in the game have poison immunity a lot of things that you might test against have energy, resist, fire, resist, cry, resist poison, resist or immunity so it’s hard to test those weapons against creatures like immune to poison, fairly decent and resist but very low energy resistance so the electric one would work better. The problem with all that elemental shit is you now have to use awareness that your targeted to know what to use on them to get the most out of it.

@@gameofadages6847 the AA or Vampires are the two to go for, I really like it, I used it at eviction notice last night without even using power armour and stabilised and it just decimated those fire starter super mutants, normally even with my bloodied commando build that’s full spec they can wreck me but they die so fast with the AA shredder that’s my go to,weapon now for eviction notice, definitely worth trying out

I use a bloodied bash damage mini gun, I swear the bloodied seems to add to the damage, and stabalised perk gives you the anti armour on top as well

It’s not just resistance many many of the enemies have poison immunity just like many of them radiation that’s the two highest communities, poison, and radiation, but a lot of them also have cold and fire resistance with varying amounts of energy resistance overall, in my opinion if you can afford the science perks Then the electric one is probably going to be the best all around if you can’t the fire is gonna be the best all around and were working but turbo would be all around because you’re not to worry about the fire or cry or poison. all you gotta do is have enough ant or sizer to cut through the resistor ballistic resistance you know DR And then if you’re really try hard, you can advance them and cut through their damage mitigation. I wouldn’t go that way because they use right I mean and what people don’t realize if they try to do fans hits with that weapon and credits and shit like that the prints only going on that one attack, and not necessary

as a self taught two stroke motor rocket scientist, the motor on the AA makes me smile, it looks pretty good, but the carburetor is hilariously wrong, the exhaust pipe is kinda off, and the flame is waaay off. should be blue ish flame and faster, like pulse. also, it should wreck your speakers with that tiny exhaust header. i have run stuff like that. it's LOUD. the turbo is cool, like "wow, an actual turbo!" but the rotor doesn't move. it's still pretty great tho...

So here’s the deal if you fully spec in all the slugger cards and sizer tenderizer you put on at least one point of a tin mass if you’re running the electric auto and I wouldn’t run the fire if you’re gonna fire the chainsaw with the dual blade and the flame is better, but if you’re running the electric auto, you’re gonna want six points in Science for cards if you go to all the trouble of actually sucking in an auto wax or chainsaw you’re probably gonna outdo the shredder, but the shredder does still have string on both weapons mashing three points in stabilized and that’s all you need tenderizer but adrenaline body mass with shredder trade mass for one gun army, and the extra Cripple effect and effect it does work not all you get is a bunch of pieces but no extra damage. You can use your shredder to stack up adrenaline adrenaline actual shredding damage doesn’t get higher with adrenaline tenderizer frequently. Doesn’t even notice that you hit something before it’s dead, but it does work if you’re like working on a Critter like you queen the queen tenderizer then you’ll see the increase which means I assume means suppressor also works beyond your bill is your you got 256-789-1011 dedicated instead of hell you got that many dedicated in strength a chainsaw really powerful and that’s not counting the rest of the billchainsaw put in size on and then they build according to whatever they wanna do and when use that way shredder is better

I know I'm obviously quite late but I was wondering if anyone knew how you get the Auto Axe as of August 2023. I couldn't afford to get on at the time when the scoreboard was originally out and I saw some Reddit articles saying that they added it to Giuseppe's store but I looked and it's not their only the mods are in his store for only 40 stamps now not 85. It's really disheartening to see that it's not there it was one of my favorite weapons in Fallout 3.

I rolled an Auto-Axe with Berserker, 40% more power attack DMG and 40% less DMG while power attacking. How good is that? The FED76 site I use to usually find the prices of items hasn't been updated in awhile.

Turtle, you must be looking at those weapons with perk cards on because the fire damage is higher than the electric damage without per cards any bird cards the fire damage that’s added when you had the fire mod is higher than the electric damage added when you had the electric mod But the poison damage added when you had the poison mod is significantly higher than either of them I just looked at it. Maybe it’s changed in the last year, but I just looked at it yesterday and the poison one looks like it would be far superior either. The one looks like it would be the electric one looks and as far as I know, the turbo is never worked, so it does reduce damage are you saying that the turbo was working? Seems like the turbo has never worked never increased your attack rate at all which is what it’s supposed to do supposed to be a 200% increase in your attack rate.

Turtle I’m pretty sure the electric is meant to be used with the science perks. I don’t know how much you actually get. I forget from running all three science perks maxed out but that’s going to work with that weapon for sure and I don’t know about a year ago right now Being equal like if you eliminate per car or you make sure you’re not running anything of benefits, one or the other that poison against human enemies fire as an all-around general is going to be the best but if you are willing to spec six points into those science cards electric is going to be the best And it was my understanding. Turbo wasn’t even working loss but no increase attack rate and it’s supposed to be 200% increase so three tax for everyone triple rate right and that might be a issue to who knows I never thought of that until you just said that, but, you already server automatically weapons so that rate so much is the server just can’t recognize either way it seems to me that the one because there’s no dot and because the amount of energy increases a little less than the fire damage right to get 20% on each one damage wise, but then you get more direct fire damage plus a fire dad very small one for like one second I think There’s no electric or energy dot so you have to beef that one up with science for cards

I'm pretty sure if you go for auto melee only the auto axe will be better and the new meta. The shredder stays as a good and cheap backup for heavy gunners.

The only way that makes sense if you’re running hacking/it’s not good for Chris because again a bunch of small attacks you’re only getting one credit I mean certainly you’re gonna charge your feet quickly but it’s gonna use up all your AV to do so a better choice would be collateral damage if it works with that weapona ton of explosions from collateral damage killing they would be exploding a lot and they’re damaging other mobs like that/you can’t control it I mean it’s just gonna go off RMG you have a max at 20% chance is I wouldn’t waste time with Vance
