I love the sound of old cars. And the longevity. Doubt we'll see any 2024 cars that still run in 2101.

Old cars like that are a blast to look at. So giddy to see another of that year running at least even if not running well.

What a delight. I drive my 1963 Ford Falcon van daily and it's a delight as well. It's great to see your joy in the '47.
@dfrozendog38492 ай бұрын
I had a 65 Ford Falcon van. Dog house hot as hell sometimes, no gas gauge, steering gear worn so there was about a foot of travel in the steering wheel, a few other minor issues. It had the tubular framed seats middle and rear and regular hinged doors all around. Loved it, it was a great machine and I wished I would not have gotten rid of it.

@@dowdawg I have been on the motorcycles all summer, and if I have something to haul I take the M37. I don't really have much need of a car, but it is more comfortable going down the road then the M37. The Chevy will cruise comfortably at sixty, while the Dodge gets hectic going over forty. Luckily I am never in much of a hurry.

Do the wipers work?
@logcabinlooms2 ай бұрын
@@metarznujane594 yes, but they are the vacuum design, this car also has a rare option of a windshield washer, the earliest I have seen on a car. The washer fluid is actually a glass quart jar mounted on the firewall, pumped by a vacuum unit activated by a push button on the dash. It also has another option rare for it's time, a backup light. The first purchaser must have told the dealer, "give me every option available", including the Fulton visor, fog lights, spot light, underseat heater, and full set of bumper guards. This was obviously somebody's baby when it rolled out of the dealership.
