Tip: use them to make an Awesome looking roadway. Sadly you cannot light them for a glowing road without some… risk… but still very cool

Only at night I imagine, but since you get to choose when it occurse, it's pretty nice all things considered. I don't think it will replace current raid farms, but it could be nice for those who aren't as technical.

I think that the resin bricks are really good accent blocks. For instance making a line along the sides of a hallway.

My guess for the illager and creaking lore is that they went to the pale forest, they encountered a creaking, they tried attacking it but their axes and vexes did no goo against it, they saw the resin particles go to a pale tree and found a creaking heart, they destroyed the heart and got some resin and the creaking disappeared and then they ran back to the mansion

I think a slightly better theory is that the pale forest once was a dark oak forrest where illigers live because of mansions and then one day a creaking heart appeared and started infecting the dark oak forrest making it unlivable and the illagers had to flee and they get scared whenever they see a creaking because it means that there is a heart nearby that might start infecting again (the pale forrest has the same type of trees as the dark oak forrest and mojang has said its a varient of a dark oak forrest which is why i think the pale forrest is an infection)

Would be nice if we could make a creaking lamp that looks basically like the heart, but emits light, can be dyed, and *maybe has a semi-translucent resin line to help distinguish it? (Kinda thinking honey/slime block ish, but could do a more clear amberlike look)

I'd like to see setups for increased amounts of local creaking hearts! If you've got a bunch that can all reach the same log(s), it seems like you should be able to harvest more often, right? I'm thinking there's something to having like 8+ hearts that can all reach a small group of logs and just have a giant pack of wolves fighting a giant pack of creaking nearby.

8:20 They not just added Toxic Resin to the April Fools snapshot, the Block Of Resin looks super similar to the Gravitator from that snapshot, and the Amber Gem is also used as an Armor Trim material, which has a similar colour pallet to the Resin trim. Was the potato snapshot a sneak peak/tease? Or maybe added from that snapshot like other features?
