We were in Vegas before the pandemic in 2019, flew over the Grand Canyon in a twin engine light aircraft, hired a Chevy Suburban and just drove everywhere. Well, the body panels are pretty tough, but anyone actually trying to shoot you would shoot through the windows. Unfortunately the body panels are so stiff there's effectively no crumple zones, so in a crash the occupants will become the crumple zones.

I mean most of the cool stuff in the cyber truck you liked is already in most Teslas and they don't look as absurd or are as big or as heavy and don't break down. It's certainly some bold design and it's done it's job because it divides opinions, but the reliability and build issues really let it down. It kind of gives electric vehicles a bad name and you have a load of people (albeit ignorant people) dissing electric vehicles because of the cyber truck which is a bit sad, when actually an off road electric vehicle will work great because it will have loads of power and torque, they just haven't done it well in the cyber truck because its not really a practical design it is more like a concept car they decided to make.

It's growing on me. Also the Canyon is awesome. I hiked all the way down, slept there and then hiked back up at 4am to avoid the 45c temps. 7 hours each way. Amazing experience
