It requires just the right car to be able to 'pull off' a lime green paint job without looking ridiculous or gawdy, but several old Mopar cars can pull it off. This is clearly one of them. Its great that it's got a 4-speed in a big car too! In the early 90s, my friend's cousin had a hopped up 68 Barracuda with a 440 auto, painted in Sublime. He had chains attached between the the engine and frame area, because he had chosen rubber motors mounts instead of stronger solid mounts, to improve ride quality(or whatever), and he was worried about the 550-600hp 440 from torque-ing itself loose and bouncing around under the hood! It looked fantastic and was scary fast too.

Definitely wrong color for 68. Looks gawdy to me but then I grew up with these cars.

When i found my '69 Charger in '77, i was actually looking for a Coronet. This example is beautiful. I'm happy it wasn't 'pounded' too hard. I see no use for extreme burnouts, especially of classic cars like this. Nice vid.

Just about painted everything green, I can forgive that colour on the outside of a 68, but not the interior. All the interior green bits would look so much better in black.

awesome!!! buddy had a 68 R/T in high school. Almost stock except it had a 440 instead of the 426 that particular model was sold with. So awesome to ride in! his dad bought him a crate 426 upon graduation. I don't think they ever put that engine the car...now 30 years later.

I would be running around the underside of the car with a can of black spray paint and get rid of all that green over spray. Not sure why they did such a nice job with the exterior, and then mess up the undercarriage like that. Why is that guy scared about getting on it? That's what the car is made for.
