Well I beg to differ I was stung by a bullet ant while visiting Nicaragua doing missionary work. There's a reason they call them bullet ants. It felt like I was shot by a gun. I was writhing in pain for almost 20 hours straight I wanted to die. Some local villagers brought me some concoction they made with plants local to the area. Which helped quite a bit but I still will never forget the pain from the sting of a bullet ant as long as I live I've had toothaches broken bones concussions kidney stones And all that s*** was child's Play compared to that bullet ant sting. You must be a liberal because you're definitely living in an alternate reality than the rest of us. Although that reality must be pretty fun it's full of unicorns and rainbows and ants that don't bite or sting😮

I've had my 07 S550 for almost 2 years. Best daily driver I ever had. It's been great and like this one it is on the plain, base 18s. But they ride the best and don't destroy the wheels. And tires are cheaper. Currently I'm salivating for an S560....

these W222s are my favorite S classes by far. The interior is a perfect mix of being technologically advanced while not being overrun by screens. Interior is absolutely beautiful. The new gen is also great but it feels looks a lot more screen reliant

Do not get rid of that car!! Drive it every once in awhile. Think of it as your Sunday go to meeting clothes. You don't want to wear it every day but when you do you feel special! Great find! I had a Mercedes 20 years ago and the gear shift was $800. I can't imagine what it goes for today. I know my oil changes on my BMW were over $100. That is the only thing that makes me hesitant to buy one now.

Yeah I had an ant problem outside the house one year. Simple solution though. Buy a good amount of liquid soap, mix with water, dig a larger hole around the ant hills and other entry ways and go to town with the soapy water followed by boiling water from the kettle. A couple applications and they got decimated.

All cars can break, and all cars can be insanely expensive to fix. I just do all the maintenance they need on time, do regular inspections like the manual says, including oil analysis so no surprises pop up. Cuz I hate pop-ups.

Randy make sure those are not carpenter ants, this is swarming season for them, if you think termites eat wood think again, look for saw dust or what looks like sand around the outside and inside of your house, if you have to hit some of the panels outside/inside and see if anything like sand falls out, if it does then you have wood eating insects.

Between 18 and 22 000 $ for an S550, that's crazy cheap. The cheapest W222 we can find in Germany are around 30 000 €, with between 200 000 and 300 000 km and are S350d with not that many options. We still have to wait a few years more so that we can find W222s at around 15 000 €

Thanks to MWM and yourself I noticed A LOT of black Mercedes S550s on I-95 last weekend while making two round trips between South Carolina and Virginia. There I was, tooling along at 75mph or better (just trying to not get ran over), and along would come a big black Mercedes just sort of gliding by me without effort. I think Mercedes, for all the over engineering recent year models have in them, and as expensive as they can be to repair/maintain, they may well be last real interstate cruisers since Cadillacs and Lincolns have devolved into little more than glorified, overpriced, Chevy and Ford SUVs. If I needed to do a lot of interstate driving, I would be more than a little interested in a 5 Series Mercedies

You'd only scrap if it needed repairs that would make it unprofitable. Body panels, wheels, electronics, motor and transmission. Every part of the car has value. But scrapping a car is a last resort.

tip to reduce water spots first try cooling down the paint by soakingthe car 2 to 3 times water actually cant dry too quick when paint is cool

Randy I think you misquoted the price of the scan tool...OTOFIX EvoScan Ultra Advanced Diagnostic Scan Tool Regular price $2,799.00 USD or is it the OTOFIX D1 PLUS Car Diagnostic Tool Regular price $690.00 USD. They are powered by Autel so that explains the similarity. I think you'll be sorry if you sell that S class, that's such a nice car.
