Mini’s are loved across Europe, if you stick to the maintenance these things won’t let you down. Never had an issue with any of them. It seems US based reports of reliability stems from not sticking to maintaining them.

I had a 2023 Mini Cooper S with a stick shift that I special ordered. At 3K miles I got a check engine light, it spent 12 weeks at the dealer and they couldn't get the light off. They replaced a lot of parts. They eneded buying it back and it went to auction with a salvage title.

@steveg2203 I thought they stopped 6 speeds in 2015 N.A.M. ? And it was the paddle shifts only here ? I have a 2014 s manual but with all JCW aero and it's at about 289hp right now. On the dyno. I was under the I assumption we couldn't get a 6 speed that new. I love my manuals . I should've researched more 🫡

What I think you'll like the Mustang is the gauges can be customized. You can have the factory gauges, 80's Foxbody cluster, or the classic 60's cluster. I think it's a neat feature on the new Mustang. At least you can get one with a V8 and a manual.

It's a JCW in the Iconic trim. It has all options. It doesn't take much to flood a MINI. Just 8-10 inches and you will need a new engine

I want to see more of it and if it starts I want to hear it run see the mileage get a better look at the frame and see if its really bad or minor. What year is it? What does it still have in it? I have flipped several minis they can be lemmons they drain the battery easy automatics cvt transmission are real common to go bad on these but I had nice stick shift Red british flag top reliable while I had it that one low miles maybe reliable but yeah 40k is crazy.

IIRC, one was an SS, but I could be wrong. I don't follow the market as closely as you do, but $10,000 for a 94 Camaro with 80,000 miles doesn't seem like it's all that high. Maybe it is. Although I don't think I would classify that as a muscle car... I agree with you about the 24 Mustang. It doesn't have any personality and the dash is freakin HUGE. I'm not a big Ford guy in the first place but I think the previous body style was nice looking for a newer car.
