For that black QX56 for the twist ignition you take plastic that ignition piece out. Then once that plastic piece is removed by literally pulling there is a hole to insert the key. This was the case for the G35x at least.

Yes when I got my g35x from Copart it forgot the key and putting that key in the ignition and it is frustrating I was laughing at him because I’d been there done that

Depending on the final price, I think the Maxima might be a decent risk. If there was water intrusion into the interior, it looks minor. No sign of milkshake in the oil. Needs a very deep cleaning but still far short of that Impala. My main concern would be the CVT transmission.

That "mud" in the backseat of the nissan looked like dried barf. You said it stank in there. That 530 sounded like a diesel. I was hoping you'd pop the engine cover to see if it's a straight six, gas or diesel. My 01 e320 Mercedes had gangster wheels on it when I bought it. I bought some chrome spoke wheels off another Mercedes. Hope that storm doesn't bring you more hail. 😊

Mud from flooding does indeed stink to high heaven. I've smelled it first hand. Normally it takes an intense deep clean or two, then like he said, ozone the hell out of it.

Get that infiniti suv it needs programming from a bad battery causing it to lose communication and they tried a new one not knowing the keys needed reprogramming or the bcm needs replaced junkyard and reprogrammed by a locksmith with the progamming tool to save dealer money. Cheap fix worth it for the condition and miles. Those run like tundras if taken care of which that one way u can tell infinitis go to crap visibly physically if they arent taken care of

Bmw used a alloy washer on the back drive shaft flange it wears enough to cause the flange to slip on the splines and cause no drive a new driveshaft flange comes now with a steel washer it was a problem with the 4 series x drives

That Nissan is not a flood, for that amount of mud inside the car, the car shouldn't start with that high, i think someone tried to put some mud inside and outside to justify damage because they wanted another car. Very Nice and good Cars today at Copart man. Love those Infinity SUVs they look so good. Also the Máxima could be a good car after a good cleaning.

It is an old junk car to the crusher .The Maxima is a flood car . Every car who is a nicotine car is cleaned and sold as non smoker car . They are pretty good at removing the stench and nicotine in the car .

I think the nissan got stuck in the mud and they had a friend with a truck with big tires yank them out. Probably had the window down when it got pulled and it sprayed the inside. The trunk dirt was from the snatch rope. Guess a wild guess who knows.

Here's a thought, it is possible someone could use a garden hose on the Nissan, then, as you said, threw mud in the car. A way to "prove" it is with litmus paper. Blue litmus paper, when dipped in Chlorine water (house water, like from a hose), would turn red first then clear. If the water was from a creek or lake or other natural source, the litmus paper would not change color that way. Anyway, just thought I would pass that on. Not practical in your job, but information to know.

To fix the QX56 you can get those key fobs programmed for $50 to $75 through a good locksmith instead of the dealer which will charge you $300 per key. And yes Nissan products will forget the keys if you don’t use them for so long After reprogramming u are up and running
