The Monte Carlo SS has always been one of my all time favorite cars. Just super sharp styling imho. It’s even aged well which can’t be said about many cars from that era.

The fluid looked new because it was, it never got pumped from the last time you dropped it and ran it. I’m fairly sure that’s why the TQ was dry, you have a bad pump.

Looks like you're finally getting there, with monster transmission., looking forward for the tear down video transmission... And it sounds like you got the 57.... Use the arp bolts with blue loctite for the transformation torque converter..... I prefer the arp bolts because of bolts I got a flange.... The generic bolts ones don't. 😊

Good idea🤔 using the strap on the transmission jack I was removing a transmission spilled fluid made it slippery🧐 it slid off the Jack I tried to catch it and cut my hand 😢
