I was wondering where did the you get the numbers 1.9 and 1.2 when drawing the triangle to make the thread. if you could please let me know I would appreciate it.

Here is what he did. His height was 12 with 6 turns. That means each turn was 2 high. He chose 1.9 to be just under 2. Then he knew he needed to cut at a 45 degree angle from there but leave a blunted cut. That is why he chose 1.2 for his other measurement.
