@ToBeRnot69 I would consider 3 categories of items that you could learn about: commands (like convertpsytles), system variables (control AutoCAD's behavior), and aliases/shortcuts. A good place to start is going to Help, which in newer versions takes you to Autodesk's website. Then go to "Command Reference," after which you can look at "Commands" or "System Variables." To look at aliases, open the acad.pgp file on your hd, which is also on the "Manage" ribbon tab, "Customization" panel.

I have been looking all over the web to find where to add a custom lineweight to the list of available lineweights. I am plotting with laser engraver/cutter. It interprets a lineweight of 0.001" as a vector and will cut that line, all other lineweights are Rasters. Any idea how I can modify the list of default lineweights to include 0.001" It oddly skips that weight.

Hello my good Sir, How or where might I get a list of the more advance autocad shortcuts that are not readily available to the general public? Shortcuts like the one you used in your very informative video tutorial, “convertpstyles,” escape me. And that reason can be attributed to the lack of accessibility. Do I need to be a member of some special elite autocad club before I’m privy to such sensitive informatio? I kid, I kid. Thank you very much for the tutorial, ciao.

Jeremy, I have a question does lineweight scale up/down to correspond with your intended print scale as drawn objects do? for instance: a lineweight of .008" when printed with a 2:1 scale does that appear on paper as .0016"

If you print from paperspace (1:1) and use the viewport to set the drawing scale, then the lineweights will be adjusted properly to work for the viewport scale. If you take a big sheet and print it "fit to paper" from paperspace onto a small size sheet, then you need to check the "scale lineweights" box to make the lineweights adjust down.
