It seems like this method wouldn’t work ‘If the files need to be shared’, since the image contained within the block is a referenced file, the image itself resides only on the persons computer and not within the block, maybe I’m wrong, the method I would use is to insert the image through ‘Paste Special’ then making it into a block.

Other method I think would be Open the image in paint then Copy & Paste it in ACAD

I add my logo to my title block template drawings so they're always brought in with that.
