For this particular FF, if you luckily own one today, you could make sum of profit by selling immediately (well if you can afford 200++ thousand pound car, a profit of 20,000-30,000 quid wouldn't change your mind to enjoy this beast) because delivery will take 2y if you order one by tomorrow. Some Ferraris are still holding their value very well, but mostly for special edition model only, 599 GTO and SA Aperta, all Enzos, 575 Superamerica, and you name the rest of classic models

Oh jolly coincidence. In Indonesia it costs around the same as well. However, you'll take notice that our income/capita is around US$5000 per year.

well, speaking in general, you are right about that point. but i wasn't talking about the sales, all i'm just saying is that Ferrari is all known for what it is, and since i don't particularly like this model very much, i can understand a price tag of 280 - 300 000, but paying more then 350 000 for a hatchback (i'm talking in euros) ? Scaglietti is better value in my opinion.

House tax depends on your income. The minimum tax to pay is 46% and up to 62,5% of your income. When you buy a car, you pay the value of the car plus 180% in taxes to the government. And annualy you pay weight tax (depends on the weight and economy of the car) and ofcourse insurance.. The VAT is 25% - so a little higher than in other EU contries.

I`m shocked. On Sunday (27th May 2012) Ferrari FF burned down on A4 freeway ringroad of Kraków in Poland. It set on fire by itself!!! (no accident involved). That car was owned by Ferrari Dealership in Warsaw (demo car, or company car). Ferrari had a problem with fire in 458, and is it still current with the FF? I love this car maker, but this is shocking...

Yes, there is some lean, but from driver's perspective, how it's controlled is more important. Some cars just crash to 1 side and then to the other, here it seems to be tight and gentle, if you know what I mean.

I really don't get why he's going on about the price so much. I don't think it's that bad. Lamborghini's big V12 car starts at £210k. You can easily get a 458 with one or two options up to that kind of money. A typical Zonda is onwards of £800k these days.

No it doesn't light up all four tyres anytime.. the gearbox disengages the front wheel in top gear because its too small

Ferrari should play things safer when naming its cars. The first F stands for Ferrari, hence FF is the full name. But no one knows that, nor should they. Great car though : P

i wouldn't complain about the price if you live in Thailand. a Ferrari 458 costs about 400,000pounds a BMW F10 525d costs 80,000-90,000 pounds If you buy a 320d in thailand you can buy an M3 in the UK, you get the idea...

If you love something, money doesn't matter, especially if you have loads to spare, or are willing to sell your soul in order to get it. It doesn't make sense pondering about buying this if your personal net worth is below a cool £500k(+the car) or earn less than £200k p.a., because then you won't afford to run it, buying it is one thing, but you need to be sensible with your disposable income. If money is not a problem, if you like it, you buy it, whatever the price. End of line!

God i hate Denmark for this..

we get JDM cars here , a lot of e250,200's 320i 520d 528i audi q5's the better off ppl use suv's with big engines no matter the price we seem to buy it here. but manufactures dont do that. instead the dealers buy the eco cars which are under the realistic CC limit. i've been in Chang Mai for a few months had a mazda3 there prices were great compared to here

I wouldn't put it that way. I live in Thailand, but I study in the UK. Cars are cheap here, but everything else isn't lol. Gas prices, insurance, rents, just the general cost of living.

Is it worth the pricetag?? The Porsche Panamera 4.8 V8 Turbo S@£123k 0-100 3.8s... I'm not too sure if the Ferrari handling is £100k more.... but the looks are at least worth £50k more!!! The other alternative is the Aston Martin Rapide Luxe@£163k... A snail (compared with those 2) but much better looking

Technically superior - yes. But it just doesn't have the elegant, timeless lines that the 612 did. Five years from now the FF will look trendy and dated - but the 612 will still look stunning and classic. Just sayin.

most of rich people don't buy "the Bugatti car" , they buy their status , their representing in to society, the comfort and secure drive, they dont buy the 2.5sec 0-60 or 250+mph performance, so yes they dont really know their value, or they just see it in other way, wich is not meant to be there in the first place
