After a while, I actually think this car is pretty good looking , looks like a Ferrari you could actually deal with everyday driving.
@nokadota213 жыл бұрын
I like it, just as before I liked the Scaglietti. There's something with a grand tourer that attracts me more than let's say a 458. Probably because I enjoy long drives, beautiful(yes, I think the FF is) styled cars with power underneath and comfort.
@ShadowFalcon13 жыл бұрын
@JayKayEightyEight The Panamera is a V8 powered 4WD saloon. The FF is a V12 powered mostly transaxel 2WD (only 4WD when you set the manetino to icy or rainy or when you absolutely arse around) Shooting-Brake.

this is possibly the best ferrari ever made because you can use it everday and the looks of the car is staggering just amazing, plus the power to get you to A and B quikly.

@Boruc987 Its an opitcal illusion, sometimes when wheels are spinning they look as if they're not moving at all. The wheels are spinning there it just looks as if they aren't.

@CollinsMbu313 жыл бұрын
@lapirk I think it's great too. Just like you said, it is a usable Ferrari, and it still has most of what you would expect from the manufacturer. The interior is great, it's has the usual Ferrari design "awkward" prettiness. It's good to me. This is a GOOD difference.

for me this car is perfect. father, sales, long drives (in various weather), and a die hard Ferrari fan. driving clients in a Ferrari sounds fun until your client can't get out of it.... or having to go home to get my other car because I had to pick my kids up from school unexpectedly( it happens). the Scag back seat sucks.

@ShadowFalcon13 жыл бұрын
@timtime88 Mate. How can you compare the FF to the Panamera?!? The Panamera's roof-line is much more sloping than this (essentially looking like a overgrown 911 with four doors) while the FF has a longer nose and a more aggressive and straight roof-line.
@Rapterr1513 жыл бұрын

Looks it like it had massive understear at the hair pin then the traction control massively kicked in and brought the car back online. Car looks alright. Maybe partly because i think it looks like one of the finest hatch's ever made, the Z3M. It looks huge compared to the host standing next to it.

Absence of a direct rival? How about the Aston Martin Rapide or Maserati Quattroporte? The only differences are two more doors and a more sedan-like roofline. And the Porsche Panamera is even closer to the FF, with its hatchback / wagon-like roofline.

am i the only one who likes this? as I see it, its designed to be not the only ferrari you own but ferrari number 2 or 3 that can be used if you want a small amount of practicability for a change whilst keeping the badge. ignore the price tag for a second, and thats what you get! a ferrari that you can go skiing or on a very long journey with

@rosskgilmour IMO you can put ski inside :)

@ipodkiller6 Well people who bought the previous 612 Scaglietti wanted a car that was less skittish in the wet (hence the 4WD system called 4RM), had better room for the people sitting in the back (the 612 was a 2+2 coupe and a 4 seater Shooting-Brake of-cause will be roomier), and had a larger boot (again the Shooting-Brake is better in that department than the coupe while still keeping the sporty design). That is the point of this car and needless to say I LOVE IT!!!

@tinaalwayswins People will still come up and talk to you about the FF, because it still has the essence of what a Ferrari is
@MrDexter9i313 жыл бұрын
@Boruc987 And it has something to do with the camera recording at about 24 frames per second, so at certain speeds every frame (image) catches the wheel at the same position as on the frame before... :D ...as simple as that... ;)

I don't care what people say this is the first shooting brake design besides the mercedes shooting brake that I like. I think it looks absolutely great. The engine sounds better than most past gt ferraris as well. The interior looks sumptous. Amazing vehicle, the awd is a new innovation, I'm sorry I won't argue with people, it is the first 100% year round usable ferrari in canada. Haters can screw right off.

I love all the negative comments. A real car fan would understand the appeal of this car, the performance is stunning, the detailing is gorgeous and the usability makes it a lot more practical. For the Ferrari owner with friends! Not the first time they have made a 4 seater either ;)
@ROCKSOLID1913 жыл бұрын
That bloke is right, let the customers answer. I placed an order for an FF because of the driving dynamics, the sharp response time of the throttle and unlike the previous 4 seaters, especially the arse ugly 612, it is more practical, would be able to replace 3 vehicles for me and is much better looking, not as better looking as the 458 Italia but it is from the ground up a good Ferrari. Who cares what old man Enzo would say about it, he said that the people who buys his cars are "idiots".

Its ok-looking, really. Looks a bit like a 250 GT SWB Breadvan. I've read on the secondary front-wheel drive gearbox and it seems like quite a clever engineering compromise between weight, CoG and power delivery.
@rogefedwon13 жыл бұрын
As the review got under way I was very optimistic about the final result. However when more and more positives started appearing I began to love the car. But there is one BIG but and that is that it looks like a 458 Italia that has been left in the sun for too long and has melted. But the sound of 651 rampant Italian horsepower may must push me to like it even more!
@ShadowFalcon13 жыл бұрын
@PreludeH22A5 Eh?!? By the same token the Aston Martin DB9 would be a Ferrari 599 with an Aston Martin Badge (They are both 2-seater coupes with RWD and a V12 engine).

@cayetanoluis ferrari has a long line of gt four seater cars. and have you heard of the 250 drogo, or the 456 venice? not at all the first time there's been an estate/shooting brake ferrari. besides, turn the traction control off/into race mode, and you have a rear wheel drive ferrari. no problem. perfect car.

@vitessemeister Exactly; it's like the GT-R's super-rich younger brother! If anything, it's actually even more useful than the GT-R given how big the rear seats look and how big the boot is. If I was given the choice between the two, I really don't know which I'd choose (and the GT-R's my favorite car in the world, by the way).

@aerlingus18 I meant that car sompanies call station wagons a different name, (maybe not touring) but they are still station wagons, much the same with this car, I hate it, ferrari makes super cars, so now I guess under the influence of bmw gt version of cars, they made this, which from the side looks like a z3 M coupe, only more "aero dynamic"? I dont think you can call it a lift back, although the truck lid does open like a hatch back...

@tinaalwayswins absolutely, Ferrari's in the past decade aren't just...mad enough. They have too much science in them and although they are all quick, there isn't enough madness in it, even the F50 and the Enzo can't match the status of the legendary F40. Maybe it's time for Ferrari to produce such a car.

@McLarenMercedes Well if they just made it a coupe, and cut the back off a little bit, it would be much better. But when you build a car company on racing and GT cars for many years, you cant just introduce a hacthback or this and not expect some uproar. Just like porshe when they released the cayenne.
