The design is quite debatable, but with long wheelbase specially when the main focus is on the rear seat, some luxuries like rear sun blinds should have been provided, considering the rising heat and the price it will be offered at. But most definitely it will be a fun to drive, hope they tune the B48 better in this.

Usually, when cars get a longer wheelbase they also improve in looks. Not so here. I have zero problems with the new 5's grille or fascia (I think those complaining are being overdramatic or just want to go back to the horrible 1950's) but in terms of the proportions of the rest of the body I think I prefer the SWB to the LWB. The rear cabin here was stretched just a little too much and neither the window trim, the awkwardly angular roof nor the inelegant tumble home help. PS. I agree the 18s are too small for this car.

Not at all i to the design language BMW is going for. The headlights, the tail lamps, too boxy, 7Series still felt like an attempt to touch Rolls Royce but this one is socially awkward at best. And how cant you kill something as handsome as the 6 GT with something like this. This car is a Great Khali in the world of Understakers 😂 I would build a 100 analogies on why not this car. Gavin bang on, in saying this design is going to take SOME time to grown on us.

I believe Landrover cars are the best in both looks and performance. I was the owner of 5 series for 7 years and now I own a Rangerover. I am still a fan of Bmw but I think it's moving away from its core USP while RANGEROVER is a different beast all together. Be it looks or performance Rangerover is just a different machine.

BMW has made this as neither here nor there car. Vegan leather, no sun shades, 18” wheels, no recline. Either go for driving pleasure or go all the way for the back seat.

They have killed DRL, from squircle (Square+Circle) to semi circle to quarter circle, in 3 series it is nearly vanished. They should have given choice for R 19 as well the way they provide in Europe
