I'm new to Arnold and honestly don't know what I would've done without the "save 1:1 ratio image otherwise it won't save the whole image" information.

Hello, I'm new in Arnold. I see in the Hypershade all object color is blue, but when you render, the color still gray. I don't understand :(
@Ctrlart
@Ctrlart 6 жыл бұрын
Hello it seems it’s only a preview problem, if the searches are blue in the hypershade, than try to refresh them, perhaps your graphic card is not strong enough? You will have to relay on the render colors not the preview

I don't understand. Why putting contribution light if Arnold is a raytracing renderer ?
@Ctrlart
@Ctrlart 6 жыл бұрын
Hello, the main thing in this tutorial is to see the card method, another reason is to have manual control and build the lighting in a custom way to enhance the environment, but yes raytracing will do the trick on its own, less control

hey thanks for the video.. i have a question.. Currently i am using maya 2017 and i am making a simple animated video. i have already make a video last and it took only 30 minutes to render 3567 frames with maya hardware 2.0 renderer (very simple & basic mesh) but this week when i am trying to render the same scene again it taking too much time to render a single frame in batch render option. but when i am only rendering a single from on viewport it takes only 0.01 sec which is absolutely fine.. so why my render is very slow in batch rendering ?? please help me ASAP... i need to Submit my project by tomorrow

Hello Tarun, Tnx for the comment , sorry we just saw it now, so hopefully it’s not too late, you must have something set up differently in the batch render , to account for the longer render times. Maybe a motion blur, or DOF , I’ll need to see your scene. If it’s still relevant write us on info@ctrlart.com and send the scene, so we can see what the problem is, It can also be that you have the test render resolution on low and in the batch render it’s on full so that could account for the render time difference

Hello, yes it’s possible we did something similar where the audio controlled the animation, definitely possible I just need to check how, let me get back to you in this later in the week

hello again, so i posted the reply in the forum... here it is as well: ok so there is an easy solution for this, and i am sure there are moreselect the vertices that you want to be influenced on your target (the mouth )you can select one or more verts. Go to - Deform create cluster. than all you need to do is make a parent constraint ( in animation menu) between your control objects (the once that are connected to the audio node) and the cluster you created. you can do this to several different vertices, I am sure there are more ways to do it, maybe also from within the mesh nodes, just dont have time to check this, but the cluster deformer should solve your probs:)hope this helps,

Hello Brandon , I will need to see where you are getting stuck, maybe send me an email connect@ctrlart.com Or a screenshot, will be happy to help just need more info, I am sure it’s something simple, when you say you don’t see the color update, is that in the render or in the viewport?

Hey Carlos, yep you are definitely right, but this was an introduction to rendering with Arnold. We wanted to keep things very simple. We are uploading a new video for rendering the final scene with textures and materials where we deal with these settings and how to optimize the render, so yes we got to 4-6 camera samples for a full render, we will upload the video next month and it would be great to get your comments than as well. Again the idea with the first video is an introduction and to show how “easy” it is to get a decent render with Arnold. We
