I have owned an Excel PHEV with the HUD and rear view camera mirror for 6 months and over 4,000 miles and it it is an excellent car with a ratio of 70% EV & 30% petrol equates to around 120 mpg. There are shortfalls, but the type you know about before you buy the car such as rear space and limited boot unless you drop the seats. But from the moment you sit in the drivers seat and plug in your seatbelt the seat automatically slides forward to your preset position through to the serene, easy and peaceful drive with very good performance at just over 7 seconds 0-60. Add in £300 year service cost and a 10 year warranty (in the UK) and a huge amount of safety kit, it is an excellent proposition, it does seem a little expensive until you compare it like for like Your presentation was very good

Whatever toyota is saing about rear wiper its a bull...only reason is so thet come to conclusion so they will save apx 10$ per wiper and the same goes with lack of door window lighting on switches and lack of 1touch autoclose on them and in the same time they PR dept states its high quality product..😕 and it need to cost arm and leg..😕

oh yeah its absolutely a cost saving measure under the disguise of "design" :)

Do you seriously think that after all the kit, safety and convenience, Toyota thought that it is a good decision to save £10 on a rear wiper, I think you are lacking a sense of proportion

Toyota design and quality is going downhill fast, this new CHR being a much cheaper feeling car with less space than the original one. The cheap and gloomy all black plastic interiors are an example as is lack of sound proofing on most models.
