Just replaced the right rear window on my Tacoma. Took my time and carefully removed every bit of broken glass and cleaned the contact area well. Brad’s glass fits perfectly. Safelite wanted $1250. $135 for glass and urethane, plus some gloves, safety eyewear, blue tape and 4 hours of my time. Well worth it!

For replacing the passenger side would you keep the slider closed to prevent it from being in your way or do you remove it entirely for the install?

Is this the best way to replace the panel or is it floating out of the seal? I’m not trying to be too picky here but is this just as good as factory? I am wanting to remove the old glass as shown. Or is it still a patch?

There's a wide variety of reasons but the main reason is money
