A pre-break-in G90 has been Dyno’d and the results show actual numbers as: 820Hp & 1165Nm. Those numbers will likely rise after the engine is run-in. Bonkers.

Nice to see this color on the G90, I have it on my F90 and still love it every day. Also to compare, my F90 M5 is weighed 1830kg without driver and almost empty fuel tank.

I have been saying this for a while and after driving this gen 5 series since the release, because the pre-gen looked so good, this one had hard shoes to fill in. But say what you want, this M5 will become a future classic design wise same as E60

Your bang on just gone from a series 3 touring to M5 touring. Have to say the M5 touring is just lush a true driving car. And aged at 49 I don't want a full on spurt car I want a comfy all day cruiser that still looks good but has power should I need it. But I love the touring shape, that blue in the touring would look amazing.

Tank! It doesn’t matter what is said, it’s still a tank. I think g80 peeps might not, as you say swap into this, it looks ok. I wasn’t sure on the m3 when it came out! However, I’ll stick with my m3 g80 CS, for now. So much better in most aspects I’m afraid.

The fact that this car weighs more than a Maybach S680 limousine (which is 242.51 pounds lighter), in which you can literally recline and sip champagne, is bloody terrifying. Then you see these chaps grateful just to be able to sit in the back seat with their legs in a normal position.

You’re treating this like some kind of rivalry between car brands, when the mention of Maybach was simply to highlight that it’s a limousine-nothing more. It’s not about some trivial argument over whether Mercedes or BMW is better. I like the design. I think it's the most aggressive looking M5 in stock form. The only thing I don't like is the rear lights design. BMW could've done better with that. Ever since the early 2000's, BMW designs have been met with hate/dislike at first and then people come around to liking them.

Not a BMW fan here, but this car looks good. In fact, if you consider recent atrocities like the new 7 series and the XM, this is a stunner. Weight is a bit more than I would want it but at the end of the day it's not a track car so this is not such a big deal. Would I buy it? No, because I am prefer my 911 but that's not a reason not to admire what was done by BMW.
