That's because Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore offer attractive incentives to encourage EV adoption. That is why the big players have been there before here.

With 5M attractive priced ? 😮 Earlier this year it was offeted for 4.6M. Mercedes will bring the similar EQA and EQB for 4.1M ro 4.3M this Q3. And Volvo will bring the electric XC40 in Q4, rumored to cost 4.2M .

@@KuchingKingVideoGamer -- This info I found in the EV owners group who was contacting Mercedes PH and is invited to the EQ launch: ""Exclusive news: Mercedes Benz will launch in August 2023 their EQA250 (Crossover) at 4,190,000 and EQB250 (SUV like) at 4,390,000 and EQE350+ at 6,090,000. These are indicative prices and both on single electric motors. More details to follow when we attend the launch.""
