I’m getting the root cause as “a recently serviced boot binary is corrupt”, with repair action: “Uninstall latest LCU”, error code = 0x905. When I try to uninstall updates,, I get “ we ran into a problem and won’t be able to uninstall the latest update of windows” for both the quality and the feature updates. This just happened a week ago. Do you suggest booting up in safe mode to try and remove the LCU update or should I do a system restore? Thank you in advance

Hello bro; If you can do it from Safe mode it will be a better choice then doing system restore, however, If you unable to uninstall the problematic update from safe mode, the System restore option is the most reasonable way to fix your issue if you have a valid restore point. Also you can try to remove recent packages using DISM tool. I tried the dism method from the recovery mode command prompt but couldn’t find the update that was bad. The updates that were listed were all out of order as far as the dates go. I do have two restore points available…one is after the problem and one is the day before the problem. I will try booting up in safe mode to try and find The bad update first

OK so I couldn’t boot up in safe mode; selecting the F6 key put me back into preparing automatic repair. Right now it says “attempting repairs” as it usually does, only this time I got the message “checking disk for errors this may take over an hour” first. Keeping my fingers crossed

Still not working. I did a system restore successfully going back to July 13, which was before the bad update. But when I restarted the computer, it went right back to the preparing automatic repair, and ended up with automatic repair couldn’t fix your PC. I’m really at a loss now as far as what to do. Try SFC tool and see if it could fix your issue or at least generate a report with the problem in your computer. If there is an identified error in the SFC log file, post it here and I will try to help you. This video contains almost all possible solutions that can be used to repair this blue screen. So, If there is no identified error using SFC, try other methods one be one and add any error you faced with any method.

Bro, i tried a lot of things to fix this automatic repair loop but haven't found any solution, at first it was just automatic repair loop without blue screen, i can still boot safe mode but since i did all the steps regarding regback even with 0 files in it, i started to get critical process died blue screen, these were all the things that i did : 1. Disable all services except microsoft service in system configuration and uninstall some error stuff with "!" sign in device manager = not working 2.Restore registry with 0 files in regback, i did all the steps until i found out there were no files in regback, since then i got critical process died blue screen 3. System restore = found out that i didn't turn system protection on and i tried using cmd to turn it on rstrui.exe /offline:C:\windows=active, i can proceed the process but failed saying an unspecified error occured duriing system restore. (0x80070002). 4. Reset PC = not working 5. I tried copy config files like sam,security, software,system from "Boot(X:) partition" to "C:" as i thought that would be the backup that were missing from regback but i was just experimenting, turned out the blue screen was gone but i got limitless windows loading, i still have back up from using md backup so i can restore back to blue screen error state Then i saw your videos and wanna check the bluescreen mini dump but when i opened the exe from cmd it said "This app cant run on your pc, to find a version for your pc, check with the software publisher" Do you have any idea about this?

You have to restore your original registry files to fix your issue. So if you have a backup copy for your reg files, you still have chance to fix Critical Process Died and Boot loop.

Try the "System Restore" if it was enabled in your computer.

Dude you helped me so much with this, but it happened again the “Uninstall latest LCU”, error code = 0x905" but when i tried to unintall it nothing happened, it only worked the first time, when i deleted the windows upgrade it didn't fix it, it only made the error vanish, if you could help me i'd appreciate it so much.

The wrong is in your computer and not in enabling intel virtualization or pressing F10.

Use the following commands as instructed in video: Bootrec /FixMBR BOOTSECT /NT60 ALL Bootrec /FixBoot Bootrec /REBUILDBCD If the last command reveal no OS, then you may need to check BIOS settings for any incompatibility, or you may need to reinstall windows.
