Hey there i need some help regarding auto switching of 2 airpumps for my fish tank, i.e. only one airpump is given power and both are connected in parallel, with only one air pump working at one given point of time, now at the time when one of the pumps stop working, i want the other pump to start automatically without any manual intervention.

Hello, in the video your connections to LCD are going to | analog in | on the board, the code you included says to go to the digital pins. I think the board in the video was inverted when you made the video. Cheers and thanks for the video!

For practical use, this relay is not enough for contolling water pump and also wireless connections are needed as the wiring is away from tank.

Hey man, the VSS (pin 1) and VDD (pin 2) of the LCD are inverted in your scheme and this will short-circuit the board. The RW pin is not connected anywhere and this will cause the display to don't show anything! In the new video with the dry pump run protection instead the pins are correct :)

the schematic is wrong: you connect 12 volts on the USB connector: the board is dead. you connect the LCD on the wrong port on the board: they are on analog ones. your connection to 240 volts is insane. where can one download the codes?

If you have the LCD1602 you need to connect the RW pin of the LCD to Ground and you need also to adjust the chars brightness with the 10K potentiometer
