I bought a microfreak as a first venture into the world of synth. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed by all the options and your video series has been a Godsend. Great, clear and digestible videos. The best microfreak resources on the internet!

Thank you SO much for your post. This is exactly what I see as my purpose in synth demonstration... and I'm so glad it works!

Ordered my microfreak yesterday as my first hardware synth. Great videos to learn some stuff before I get it - can't wait for it.

Looks lie great fun and at the same time a very serviceable instrument for in-studio and live applications. Hybridisation has certainly come a long way and is piquing my interest more all the time. Great demo, Marc.

Black´s Wonderful Life got whole new depths with the low octave saw soupped up super wave. Bought the Stellar Lmtd. Ed. last week and got this yesterday. It truly is a *freak* .

Wonderful series!!! Your presentations are so informative and tactile... Please keep these awesome reviews coming. Lastly, a humble request. Could you review/ demo the 1010Music Blackbox and the Roland MC-101?

Hey:) this is really great, but the playlist is out of order! This video is the third in the playlist and also the final sequencer video is labeled “01 - Sequencer Part B” instead of 21!

I don't like it's bad LSD trip appearance, but that thing packs so much sonic potential into a small and affordable synth it would be crazy not to get one.

I need a MiniFreak with effects, so I can save those along with patches.

@@eaman11 Yeah, would have been great if they'd included reverb and delay, to make it more powerful as a standalone synth.

Do you think the Super Saw on this sounds as good, as on the JP8000?
@automaticgainsay3 жыл бұрын
I’ve never played a JP8000!

@@automaticgainsay ah ok! That was the originator of the Super Saw, so was curious how Arturia's iteration, holds up.

Not really a 1 oscillator sound anymore with these digitally doubled, trippled and howevermanied waves, huh? Sounds as fat as a minimoog if you ask me... and it seems there is now 4 voice unison as well. That must be insane...
