When Joe makes videos about recording or processing guitar sound, I don't miss one! I love automations but especially with Studio One it's so easy and enjoyable to use them! Thanks Joe and thanks Presonus!

Great stuff Joe, thank you! It's like magic. Would love to see a video on using MIDI commands to control effects in Studio One in real time - using something like the Helix's command center feature where it becomes a foot pedal for your DAW! Would be really useful for showing off the show page features especially.

Joe, my favourite thing about your videos has nothing to do with Studio One or how you present things but your songwriting. Another cool song! Awesome!!! Keep it up.

Those pitchshifted riff sounds like some Whiteheart chord love from my (much) younger years! Thanks for the memories, Joe! Great tutorial BTW! Much faster than multiple takes and crazy fingerings!

I love how the pedals change from B/W to color when on. I've been pedal dancing since the 70s lol. Sure would have made gigging easier for me back then.

That just opened up some new horizons for me Joe.

And of course you can always save the song to a show set up and have the same ampire pedals setting trigger during a live performance. What I do though is setup midi automation lanes to send program changes through a usb to midi adapter connected to a foot switch to change program settings and fade in and out or even program volume swells with volume presets on various midi controlled effect units. I'm sure the ampire pedals always trigger and never lag or fail to trigger which is frustrating when it happens.

Great Work Joe, thank you,! Ampire is just awesome and also my Presonus StudioOne, Is there something that can be done with Ampire, where I can record electro -acoustic guitars directly connected via the Piezzo and that also reproduces acoustics amplifiers and speakers?

Great video. For even more fun, you can get a foot switch controller (I'm using a RigKontrol in MIDI mode) and pretend like you have actual stomp boxes. Quick question: Is there a way to automate a channel split? If, say, you wanted to automate switching between an acoustic simulation and a high gain sound. It doesn't look like the effect splitter supports automation and Ampire doesn't seem to have a channel splitter as well. NI's guitar rig seems to be the only plugin that supports this (with automation).

@stvolo3 жыл бұрын
I'm like you Joe, I'm used to putting my foot down to get the metal from the pedal, but when will S1 make the connection with a standard on/off button to implement the stompbox we all like... although I do like the automation it's just set and forget.

Air I have question? 1. How to make automation to change present, ex : bar 1 preset 1, bar 2 preset 2 2. Can we use that method for live on stage? How about the latency?

Wondering if there's any way to use automation to change the actual amp sim in Ampire within a single recorded audio track? So instead of turning on/off pedals like Joe shows, what about changing from, for example, a Marshall amp sim to an Orange amp sim during the track using automation?

Can you explain why I couldn't get any pedals. For me it only shows my app it doesn't shows any button to add pedals or stomps there's no tab for me to add the pedals and I couldn't change the amp I could only use ampire because I don't have any option on the right top

Once again-An eye opening video-On two major points! 1.) Didn't even have the slightest notion I could do this. 2.) Which is old hat for me-Is how in God's name were you not clipping on that track? If my eyes weren't telling me lies-the faders were at unity. I couldn't make out the Trim controls and didn't see any red. I know what I'm doing after work!

Hi Joe!! I just purchased a persons audiobox 96 and I signed up for sphere. I love all the effects but I have a problem...I can barely hear the effect when I'm playing my guitar because the raw tone is over bearing. Is there a setting so that when I play I can only hear the effect? Thank you!

Thanks Joe. Not exactly on point but I'm using a nice delay from the Ampire pedal board but find the echoes extend way beyond the end of the song. Fades don't stop it unless I fade very early at the end which cuts off the guitar too early. Do I use automation to turn the pedal off at the end to kill the resonance? Tnx.

Joe, I swear I was just wondering about this the other day, if it was doable. I assume this can be done after the fact. I would like to ask you if it's also possible to change the BPM of a song, mid song? I just wrote a new song and I would like to increase the BPM about midway into the song.
