Your the KING of organization. I have many of the same tools but mine are stacked on each other. Thanks for posting your tool box tour. I enjoyed every minute watching.

Excellent. I just examined the hf 26" base and cabinet (series 2) and was blown away by the dimensions for the price. I also love the thin drawer format. Studying auto mechanics for DIY application. One of the best overviews of the tools needed I've seen.

Great box, love the organization. Some neat tools I didn't even know about, that's why I watch tours. Came to the comments to ask about the bins, good find on those and just ordered myself a set. Really like how you keep your tools clean to boot. I catch shit about mine being like new as well. i just take care of them and never put them back dirty lol.

This box is set up perfectly! Your using every little bit of space. I have the 46" box and I'm always looking for more space somehow.

I really like the organization here. It's set up well. I just upgraded from a series 1 two bank to the 72 inch, with locker and cabinet. Even now I still have to organize things to fit all my stuff in there. I've worked with guys who didnt seem to understand if you just take the time to organize, most of the time you dont need a bigger box, the space is there. lol. Also, had to order that fuse buddy to try it out. Looks like a very helpful tool for 30 bucks

I know you clearly don't like buying off the tool trucks, but there's one set of pliers off the Snap-on truck you'll absolutely need if you're working on small things. The Snap-on 5-in ignition pliers. Best little pliers I've ever had. They've got me out of so many jams.

I found them at a surplus industrial outlet style store. Think they are something along the lines of assembly or warehouse bins.

I may have missed it but what's your opinion on the toolbox? Are the wheels locking, swivels , ball bearings. The drawers are they bearing sliders, what are the weight capacities? Thanks for the tool tour.
@Jaspel2 жыл бұрын
It's good for the money. However the price has gone up and they have multiple oems making it for them. For that reason I wouldn't trust them to be consistent. Mine are fine. I have 3 or 4, oldest of which I pushed around as a service cart for a couple of a years that was completely overloaded and lasted fine. There is only a single set of sliders per drawer where something better like a lista or the tekton have a much better weight rating. They are good ball bearings- guessing 50lbs is the drawer rating which is typical. Perhaps the full drawer service cart they came out with recently would be a better option today if you need it to last mobile. If it's sitting in one spot 100% go for it.

Hello Jaspel This has nothing to do with the current subject. But how did you connect your various tool boxes together? And would they hold up to be loaded/unloaded by a forklift? As a Aircraft Mechanic a lot of my jobs are as a Subcontractor to another company. So jobs Come and Go. I find myself moving from place to place or hanger and aircraft. What the empty tool weight? Thank you again for another Great Video.
@Jaspel3 жыл бұрын
They are just hanging from the top lip. You'd want something built better for that level of handling.

@@Jaspel Thank you for getting back to me. I am currently looking to upgrade my tool box. And finding out how heavy they are without any tools being loaded. Would you have any suggestions for me? Again Thank you.
@Jaspel3 жыл бұрын
@@georgeferlazzo7936 Not specifically. My main concern with this box is that it isn't on a frame- just has extra layers of support on the bottom. I don't think it would hold up to the forks.

In one breath you question why have a click style torque wrench with digital ones available, and in the next breath you show your tekton calipers with no battery, and you don't have to worry about the battery dying. I have used the digital torque wrenches and you always have to worry about the battery. The clickers always work. Anyways, great video.
@Jaspel3 жыл бұрын
Good point and thanks! I think my main complaint with the calipers is not that they are electronic, but that they seem to die randomly and coin cell batteries are hard to come by. Perhaps a Mitutoyo would solve this but the dial doesn't really slow me down and I see little difference in accuracy/precision. I do have mid grade 3/8 and 1/2 digital torque wrenches and made sure to get ones that take AA/AAA. Functionally electronic is superior- they don't go out of calibration, can hold the peak value, beep vibrate, etc.. That being said, I prefer the clickers as they are dead simple in a +/- 10% world.
@FinallyMe783 жыл бұрын
@@Jaspel Haha. I have a digital Mitutoyo set of calipers. I use them alot and have had them for about 14 years now. I have probably replaced the battery 3 times, and it is hard to find a replacement, other than amazon. I do plan to get a dial set though. As an Mechanical engineer, I do argue with my colleagues about the precision necessary for bolt torque. I don't think it needs to be that precise, but there are definitely those who would disagree.

I have this tool cabinet I like it a lot the only problem I have is you pay a lot of money for them and the drawers don’t have locks on them I push my box around to job and my drawers come open so I had to make a magnet piece that holds the doors together from opening it up when I push my cart so my question is why can’t they put door locks on this box? The cheaper ones has it?

Milwaukee cordless tools are severely overrated. I only use Makita and Dewalt cordless tools. I love Irwin and Lenox pliers and screwdrivers.
@Jaspel Жыл бұрын
Got to fit the constraints available to you when it comes to brands and what is in your workplace. I'd generally agree with milwaukee but there are soo many tiers now, it's a mess but you can pick the better ones out. A couple of years ago the dewalt impacts wrenches were really lagging but now they seem to be near the top.
