Brian, how is the ride quality of the 2019 on bumpy or less than smooth roads? Are you using run flat tires or non run flat? Congratulations on your acquisition.
@brianmiller15805 күн бұрын
@Chuck-s5i Honestly I can't say? I live in the MidWest weather has not been ideal for summer tires so I have only driven it once at this point lol...car only has 14k miles and it does not have the original run flats on it any longer...looking foward to spring!! Your inspiration series is awesome btw!!

Hello David, I appreciate the quality of your content and your intelligent and professional demeanor and approach. The idea of an upper tier grand touring car that is very comfortable and “ fast enough” is quite appealing (Thank you Lexus). I am deciding whether to purchase a 2025 or a used late model L certified LC 500.The improved steering feel of the 2025 is good to know. I’m strongly leaning toward the dynamic handling package option. Thanks for this comparison review.

Both very beautiful vehicles Dave. I'm on the fence about the Copper Crest color- in some light conditions it looks stunning, in other light conditions it is dark and bland. Concerning the Inspiration Series, I think that it does not offer enough extra features to justify its price, while invoking serious deficiencies such not allowing for the Dynamic Handling package (Not sure why this so). The white & blue interior is stunning, but I fear that the white leather is a very touch, stain and wear sensitive color. I think a nice eggshell/butter color would have better suited this combination of colored. Good luck Dave.

How do you like the carbon fiber roof, with the Dynamic Handling Package, vs. the glass roof, on the Touring & Sport package? Does the glass roof w/ shade have less headroom? Is the variable ratio & 4 wheel steering a noticeable upgrade? Thanks, in advance

If I had lots of money I would own one. But, I can only afford one at a time. I just got a 2025 Q8 with everything I needed and wanted on it. 11% discount on the MSRP and they gave me what I paid for my previous car on trade deal. Very pleased.

The Inspiration series LC has an interior color matching steering column which blends in beautifully. I just noticed the standard LC has a black steering column no matter what interior color.
@edmundcharles52784 күн бұрын
You have a great eye for detail! Yes- every LC 500 should have the matching interiors color and steering column. Once again, the Lexus of Japan LC 500 design staff do not seem very aggressive in improving the interior cabin design features that most critics have been pointing out for many years! A sunglasses holder, 2nd true cupholder, Smartphone storage area, larger door still storage areas, fold-down rear seats, etc- are all minor but needed interior features that could be done without sacrificing any major model changes!

@@Chuck-s5i they weren't that costly and i do notice less vibration on the ride .i also recommend a move to non flat tires it added to refinement
@Chuck-s5i2 күн бұрын
@@omarr6021 Thanks for your reply. Those dampers were added to the LC 500 in 2021 to further improve what was already very good NVH control. It’s great to know that they work as intended. I’m not surprised that non-flat tires are an additional benefit toward ride quality and refinement. With those tires I’d keep a portable air compressor stored in the trunk.

Having spoken with several of the largest Lexus dealers in the USA and Canada, this KZbin video blogger should concentrate on quality reviews of Lexus' most popular vehicles -- SUVs. Specifically, the RX, NX, UX, and the TX. Lexus has plainly responded to consumer demand by pivoting to SUVs -- versus cars. The video blogs of this channel should reflect that.
@Chuck-s5i3 күн бұрын
This makes absolutely no sense at all.
@PeterGinUAE3 күн бұрын
@@Chuck-s5i The "sense" is that reviews on low selling cars will appeal to a small consumer market -- versus reviews of the cars that are high volume sellers. The LC is not sold in the EU, anymore. It's a dying model.
@Chuck-s5i3 күн бұрын
@ Have you actually taken the time to review this channel’s video catalog? There’s a very generous amount of reviews devoted to the ubiquitous SUVs. I applaud the effort and time David provides for reviewing a far less common yet wonderful vehicle such as this Lexus LC 500. He apparently recognizes that you can appeal to the interest of different automotive niches. I’m very glad he’s here.

Personally, LC500 is a great grand touring car.. I have driven it extensively. It does cruising with luxury well, but the issue is it does not offer much else other than an aggressive exhaust sound. It is way too slow and way too soft and floaty when you go anything above 5/10th. It is a fine car if you are going to cruise in style, but it does not definitely check all the boxes for me for the price.
@2013brzsubaru3 күн бұрын
4.4 0-60 is not slow nor is it particulary fast. Why do you need it any faster for a luxury cruiser? Would you track this car? How fast do you need to get to the speed limit?
@KLRGT500KR3 күн бұрын
No way. It runs 13.2 - 13.3 second in the quarter mile and it feels like it. It is 4400 lbs and underpowered for the weight. There is a video of it losing to a 370z stock. There is not a single test where it runs 4 4 seconds. Even Lexus does not claim that. 4.7 - 4.8 second in all of the tests I find. I get it is not meant for high performance driving, buy for $100k, it does not check all of the necessary balance boxes since it is way too grand touring
