I managed to change mine on a mk3 1.0 Ecoboost Focus, after removing the intake pipe. Its not easy though due to limited space. Removing the right hand pipe first makes it easier. If anyone is looking to save money on buying new hoses (summer 2024 they are £23 each at a UK Ford dealers), the O-ring seal inside the connector is a BS4518, size reference: 0186-24. (Ø18.6mm ID x Ø2.4mm section). Given the choice I would go for FKM over NBR, due to the temperature.

If you break the twist connector - Dorman 800-411 is a replacement - can cut back the hose and clamp it to the Dorman connector.

if i disconnect both hoses will that cut off the coolant supply to the pipes inside the drivers foot well ? both pipes inside the footwell have burst an oring & i need to repair them, will this save me draining the coolant ? thanks

Kh 856 My brother. That's the part number I had someone tell me you could put a clamp right onto the heater core but I'm a little cautious about that. Twist II Is the name of the coupler bler or whatever the inlet. Can't buy those anywhere

I've just tried doing mine no luck even with the tool no space to get to it I removed the air intake pipe got the tool on but can't get my hands to it to turn no space or not enough got the ford focus mk3 ecoboost it's a bloody nightmare

My brother, I read in a forum that you could cut the hose and just skip the outlet part. I don't really want to spend over 200 for an OEM hose with the outlet. What I mean by the outlet is the plastic coupler and the o-ring

KH 856 is a part number for the whole hose if anyone needs it out there. Good luck finding the inlet or the coupler. I've read that only 4 buys those. They're called twist II.. what an expensive ass fix for me. Hope you all don't run into the same issue
