how do u know when to replace the fuel filter?
@piotrfolczyk85896 жыл бұрын
Walczyk check owner’s manual for recommendation, that is always good place to start. Most new Japanese cars do not seem to have an issue with fuel filter. They act like it does not exist? Korean may not be so easy. Clogged filter would mean fuel starvation, I would expect engine not willing to run eagerly. Hard to start or no start at all in extreme condition. Lot depends on quality of fuel used. Was the car filled in reputable stations one may never come across the problem.

@joemvin.j3-162 ай бұрын
Not true. For most cars, AND as he said in this video, when you separate the fuel line by pressing the button, some fuel sprays out - IF the fuel pump still makes pressure (if the pump is dead, it no longer makes pressure, so nothing sprays out). Once you pull the float & pump out, some fuel drips off - and that's it. The rest of the fuel stays in the tank. IF REMOVING THE TANK - then most of the fuel should be siphoned out of the tank first, before that tank is removed.
