I think you should have mentioned the upper rear window stop on the 1st rear track you installed, it is impossible to install with out the track in. Great Vids guys, I actually laughed over the hair antics! Cheers 🍻

The opening at the end of the door is for removing and replacing the glass instead of going thru the top.

It may be that the roller on the front section is not in the track. Our '65 is doing the same thing and we're pretty sure that the roller is long gone. That is a common problem on the Mustang. You'll see a lot of them with window issues. If you haven't yet, pull the door panel off and check that. If that isn't it let us know!

Where do you find a graphite stick. I can find lots of powder.

If you have a Hobby Lobby near you Hobby Lobby carries graphite sticks I recommend using the 6B graphite stick as it is softer for this sort of work

install tip on '67: 'Upper Rear Stop' that bolts to the 'Rear Guide' thru the end of the door. Save yourself some grief and do this BEFORE installing the glass.

I a following your instructions but am having trouble getting the glass in. The two rollers will not line up with the rear window run. I am also having trouble getting the rollers down through the opening at the top of the door. Hoping you can help me.Errol

Make sure that the opening sheet metal where the beltline weatherstrip is has not been pulled out.That sometimes happens. We'd recommend you send Jeff some pics: [e-mail]

I'm working on a 65 Mustang coupe, and I am not able to get the driver side window glass aligned properly. The top front does not come up high enough to seal the glass with the door weatherstripping. The back, at the quarter glass, is higher than the front. Any suggestion on how to get the glass to be the same height front and rear? Thanks

As far as we know the rear stop is not available. We discuss the rear stop starting at 21:21.

If I could go back in time to 2012 when this was produced, I would and I would do it differently. Can't. We have changed our production some, the humor is less set pieces, more in line of production. Some people don't like a "show" they want to be dropped into the tech. This is a show with tech. I have said it even here in the comments though, we like to have fun when we work. BUT, we DO listen to viewers. Thus the change over the years. Sorry we are annoying to you Bob, I hope you find a show--err tech format that suits.

LOL! Well we don't think you suck. We value your opinions, in fact we throttled back the set pieces of comedy. This was primarily due to what we experienced when WE used KZbin looking for tech help. In fact we have shortened our intro to 10 seconds to make it faster to get to the tech. Even with that we still do some fun stuff in the show just because we want to show that this a fun hobby. Something that TV shows seem loath to do.
