Good morning Buddy !! Well my old 1987 Caddy and Chevy Pickup need new plates. Had to put lower ball joints in on both sides on pickup. . Cant believe after 36 years they wore out lol . I hope things are going good for you . Have a good day . 5 am cst 15 Dec 2023

I was mudding the tool room drywall yesterday. I'm fixing a Jeep and doing some more mudding today. I'm gonna mud tomorrow and work on a Jaguar and spend Sunday relaxing. You're still renewing plates on those old beasts? You should get the Year of Manufacture plates or the historic plates on those guys so you have a non-expiring registration and no more inspections.

You are 100% correct . Although they sometimes catch something that I missed . This is just a crazy time of year . There is endless business paperwork to do . Licenses ,bonds, etc etc. Saint Louis county is not helping out with their budget cuts and failed website . I just keep plugging along .Alot of people have tried to buy my old truck. Its still in nice shape and runs absolutely perfect . I have to have a truck with this yard . The caddy looks like it just rolled off the line ,and only has 80 K miles. My oldest son in Desoto had an unexpected problem so dad had to give him 5 thousand last month .No thats not a loan lol. The glamorous life of a bachelor contractor I live . Eventually I will work on the garage and pull in the john Deere and do required maintenance . I bought some nice tools off the big factory job. Been a tool freak since day one . My dad built show cars when I grew up . I started out as a jet engine mechanic then moved on to avionics and electric.That was a smart move . Well going to give website one more shot . @@catfishjenkem2226 you keep that old truck and Caddy. Keep everything old. Never buy a new car. That Jeep took me three hours just to get to and change the spark plugs. Took another two hours to get the manifold back on and put back together. The amount of BS you have to do just to change spark plugs is unreasonable. Working on these women's new cars reinforces my reluctance to buy anything other than a RWD V8 built before 2010. My Camaro is the newest I'll ever buy. It's still too new for my liking but at least the thermostat housing, oil and trans pans are still metal and the maintenance is still easy to do. Everything on the new cheap cars becomes a major project. General maintenance alone will kill you heaven forbid you need something major.

yepper all is true . The 1 ton chevy vans are incredible work vehicles also . I will keep all vehicles until I am cold lol. My favorite show is on " I survived " Awesome there was 8 seasons of it .last night Kirkwood and cookie Thorton were on . @@HollywoodHornet

Did you use weatherstrip? If so where?

We didn't see the need for it, we did not install any weatherstripping. Ditto for the push button light.
