MAN....I LOVE vintage old GM boats of that era. I had a '79 4 door Regency with an Olds 403, a '80 Delta 88 with a 307 (last of the mechanical HEI/ 4 barrel Rochester) and an '84 4 door Delta 88. They didnt make 600 HP but they rode like riding on a cloud, were well maintained by the previous owners because they were older folks and they were easy to work on. Keeping this 600 HP monster Buick powered is so cool also. I stuck with Olds power in an 86 442 instead of going the easy route with a SBC.

Fast, comfortable, and reliable. 1975 was the first year requiring catalytic converters. I replaced it with a "Dutchman", but was told it wouldn't pass inspection in New York, so I put it back in. The only bad thing was: "It never passed a filling station it didn't like"
