Thanks for this great video. I cleaned the clogged screen as per your video and my salt tank is no longer overfilling with water and eating up all the salt however my water is still not soft. Do you think the water softener is finished? Its about 7 years old. I just bought a new place with the system already installed.

I just pulled my injector and swished it in CLR and rinsed. Replace and run a regeneration cycle and see if it takes brine. 7 years seems pretty new.

soft pliable Ball out for a look-see . then I see that it was re-installed and I assume no need to lube the cup that the ball sits in.

My injector won't come out. Even with excessive force. I don't know why it's so easy on the video. I have the 760/255 model.

Likely from mineral build up. I would see if your local softener company has a preventative maintenance call offer.
