My puppies in the past were trouble just past a year. They would occasionally chew something up in their second year but it was toned now. My pit bull at 7 will now and then chew something up but no walls or furniture. Keep an eye on the cat. They can have real anxiety issues that affect their health when introducing a monster dog.

Yes hopefully once she's over a year old she'll calm down. My cat loves dogs but not Cleo. She is safe at least.

Happy 60th birthday! Your plants are looking great. Cleo is looking beautiful too! No, I did not enjoy Louise Penny's last few books. Her first few books were very good and I have read the whole series now. I usually buy her books when they come out. I think she will have a new book coming out in October. I have pre-ordered it and I hope it is a good one.

Thank you so much. 😍 Ah so it wasn't just me who didn't enjoy Penny's last few. Let's hope the next one is better.

Happy Birthday! 🎉 I will be 60 next year. I’m happy to hear your puppy is doing better! I also had to crate train my dog Gus. The trainer said it provides a sense of peace and calm for an anxious dog, and it gives me a break when I need it.

Thank you very much! I've definitely changed my view of crating though I still don't love them. It works, that's all that matters.

I write this comment before I watch the video because the title alone made me smile, seasonal Wrap up is a format you should never let go:-) Hope you doing better Kathi.Your must have nerves of steel, You told us how exhausting Cleo was bat that bad is another number, I am unfortunately a very impatient person so I would never gone through the cleo story and now you have to separate them too. But I guess that problem will improve too when cleo gets older. I was happy to see some of your plants too. One series I read is the French Author Fred Vargas with her Adamsberg Books, they all play in France expect one where Adamsberg travels to Montreal and guess what, same Cliches and prejudices from the other side of the Atlantic. so I think there is an long going on hate/Lofev relationship between "Homeland" France and French speaking people outside. About the passage trilogy i feel exactly like you, 2/1/___3 is my ranking too. Cronin released his new book just last year "The Ferryman" which get very mixed reviews and even most of them were negative so I will definitely weit for the paperback or a used copy.

I will incorporate a seasonal wrap up at the end of each season but since people prefer monthly wraps of the books I've read, I will do that too. My nerves nearly shattered with Cleo 😂. And I guess I committed to Cleo when I got her. Just like a monster child we would never give up, she's mine. Oh interesting about Vargas. I'll have to try her soon. Glad you enjoyed The Passage trilogy too. I have The Ferryman so will read it sometime soon.

Happy Birthday! I hope things go smoother with Cleo now. I sometimes forget what books I have read too which is why I post my opinions and ratings on Goodreads. Keeping in mind, just like you, sometimes your favorite authors can disappoint you sometimes. I know that you like fantasy books and I heard of rave reviews by other BookTubers for Blood Over Bright Haven by ML Wang.

Seen a fair few episodes of the Miss Fisher show. It's mostly light and fun. Series of Unfortunate Events is great, can highly recommend the Netflix series when you're finished, it covers all 13 books. The earlier film is also really good too but only covers the first 3 books.

I would like to watch the shows when I finish the series. I loved the film but yes it doesn't cover all the books.

My best Spring (USA) reads: I Let You Go-Mackintosh, The Winter King-Cornwell, Hills of Heather and Bone-Andrews, The Pursuit of Love-Mitford, The Ice-Cahill, Life in the Garden-Lively, A Town Called Solace-Larson, and Jar City-Indridason. I have so many great reads because I DNF what I don’t care for quickly and frequently.

Sounds like you had a great spring reading. I wish I was better at DNF'ing.

@@NerdyKathi One of the major reasons that I feel comfortable DNFing so many books is because the majority are borrowed from the library or are very low priced ebooks. If I love a borrowed ebook, I may purchase the paper book to have in my collection, but I usually buy those used also. I try not to purchase the rest of a series until I read the first book or unless the whole series is less than $10 and I am convinced that I will enjoy the whole thing.

I do feel I have to read them if I own them but some books it's just not worth it. I'm trying not to buy more than a first book to see if I like an author as I've had a few misses.

Happy birthday Kathi. Glad you had a wonderful day 🎉 I’m reading a virus book at the moment too. Lockdown by Peter May. He wrote it years before “our” virus. They’re popping up all over. Have you read any Kerry Greenwoods Corrine Chapman. Fabulous character plus recipes at the back. I only read 9 books in May - some L J Ross on kindle and The benevolent society of ill mannered ladies by Aus author Alison Goodman. Murder on Mustique by Anne Glenconnor was interesting. Also read Cotillion by Georgette Heyer. ❤

Thank you so much! Ohh I'll have to look for that May book. I do love an apocalyptic book. No, Phryne Fisher is the first Greenwood book I've read. I'll look into the others, thank you! 9 is a lot of books. 😊

Hi Kathi, thank you so much for this video. I love your plants, they look beautiful 😍 with Louise Penny I read up to The madness of crowds and I didn’t like it.I didn’t like the previous one either so I haven’t been in a hurry to go and get the last one. I will continue reading the series but I wish the latest books were as good as the earlier ones…❤

Happy Belated Birthday. 🎉 You are so patient about Cleo, and I'm sure it will pay off. My 8 year old cattle dog...I finally did what I swore I would not do...I adopted a mellow "mama" dog to babysit her. A drastic step, but this is working, and I benefit because the new dog is a wonderful companion to me as well. I liked you book wrap up. Your honesty is funny and refreshing.

I love Louise Penny series but I haven't got that far yet. Now you have me worried.🤔 I also don't like when people push their views to hard. I think I am on nine and have liked them all so far. 😊 Good luck with the pup. I hope she calms with age and learns to get along with the cat. Make sure the cat has a safe place and they should be okay. 🤞 I just started my first Justin Cronin book and am liking it so far. (The Ferryman)
