Emma, I wouldn’t worry about it. There are some sad Folk that take great pleasure in criticising others. You do you and enjoy your Allotment in the way you do. You do not have to justify yourself to anyone this is your channel and if people want to watch it all well and good if they take something away from it fantastic if they don’t, then they don’t have to watch it again but they do not have to slate you or your efforts.. Anyway, Rocky foxy Einstein and the dickie birds all seem to love your plot so if you have the approval of all the animals that is a ✔️in my book youyou go girl you’re doing a great job and your are an inspiration to many.

Emma, ignore people's nasty comments. You have two allotment plots, a home garden, two children and a life outside of the allotments so just be you and do what you want.I never understand why someone who doesn't like you style of gardening would watch you blogs? If they don't like how you garden, no one is forcing them to watch.Personally I like your style of gardening as it inspires me and also makes me realize my garden doesn't have to be perfect either.

Emma, what you have accomplished with your plots is amazing. Just maintaining an area already cleared is hard work, but on top of that you cleared out and reclaimed a completely overgrown mess. Also, Rocky has the most skinniest and longest tail I have ever seen on a cat! It is always fun to see him show up.

You definitely don't have to justify yourself Emma, some people are cruel with unnecessary comments. You've worked so hard on land that otherwise would be left to over grow. Stand tall Emma ,your little channel and your wonderful personality that encouraged me to garden added to my recovery from mental health . So you helped grow more than plants you help grow people too and for that I thank you .❤

I dont usually comment on you tube video but I just had too. I had an allotment 10 years ago, I just found out I was having a child and didn't have the most amount of money to put Into the plot. I kept it for 4 years but because it wasn't completely weed free and booming like all the others that I saw online I decided to give it up. I've been following you for almost a year now and love your way of working. It's about enjoying what your doing and not perfection. I'm now on a waiting for a plot in my area and excited to do what I can. Not expecting perfect but the amazing fresh homegrown crops. That's all down to your videos. Keep at it and ignore the haters ❤

I wonder if the evil commenters realise the amount of time and effort goes into every episode of Emma's Allotment Diaries. Planning the shots , locations, shooting angles , filming ,focusing ,fixing , retakes and bloopers etc . Then hours of editing, voice overs , music and then uploading to KZbin. Intermingled with all that we have the actual gardening all done single handedly. Not forgetting to feed Einstein and chatting to Rocky before collecting more woodchip . Now multiply all this by three, or four if you count in the new Sunday matinee. Well done Emma.

Well let me blimin counter that hater, Emma, I got the phonecall today that I have finally got my new allotment plot!! You are one of the main reasons I applied to even get an allotment, I'm so excited and your vids have helped push me forward to get to this point. I get to view and sign for it on Thursday. You truly inspired me, even if all I seem to do is occasionally pop up and go on about planting more spuds and generally being a tad overexcited about spuds 😅 I appreciate well beyond just your spuds Emma 😅. Please don't be deterred by someone that's obviously a bit bitter and shriveled enough to say such horrible things. There's plenty of people who appreciate just how much you do!! Here's to continuing to be productive! ❤

Don't validate troll comments. There are people who get off on being nasty while hiding safely behind a wall of anonymity. They want a reaction, ANY reaction. IGNORE. I have a neighbor on one side who has let his back garden go pretty wild and unkempt. Though I'm occasionally annoyed by the weeds that keep attempting to encroach into my yard, I'm also enthralled by all the pollinators I see over the fence! I'm simply amazed at how much you've done with the new plot! If it were me, I wouldn't have had it ready for planting until 2025, LOL. I love your attitude, I love your videos, and I love your allotment! And I like your little change in production style by showing us more of your actual work in fast forward mode. 🙂 (Some garden-tubers only do the walk-and-talk but I don't subscribe to them. I like to see a bit of action/work done, too.)

I could not believe the progress you made in the new plot let alone got it to the point that you actually were able to grow things. Agree completely. If the idea of messiness or over growth or whatever putting someone off a plot shows they aren’t ready. Nature is messy, dirty and chaotic. Forests don’t naturally grow in neat little rows. If it has to be Insta ready at all times, they don’t want a garden. They want a social media story. Which is fine, but a different hobby.

The people who choose to make unkind comments obviously haven't seen just how overgrown your new part was when you took it on. They are just sad people who probably don't even own a garden. people who are chronically critical of others' work need to take a good hard look at themselves! I read somewhere a long time ago... i.e, years... People tend to be most critical of others for the things they do not like about themselves. They see it in your work and jump on it... you... instead of getting their own act together. Personally, I'd say you have a very comfortable, welcoming relaxed gardening style. You welcome and encourage the wildlife and local animals. You care about all of them and nurture them even when it is not easy. You laugh at yourself and your own foibles.. that shows greater wisdom then you might realize. Enjoy your gardens Emma, even as I enjoy watching your videos

Autumn is the hardest time of the year on the plot (my opinion). So much tidying and clearing. Take no notice of keyboard warriors. Your plot looks great. Some of the ones near me are sadly jungle like, which is sad. They should be cultivated. I'm worried we may lose them if more people don't take them on. It's mostly older folks on our plots, and I fear many are out of energy. It's great to see young folks growing stuff. The problem with pollinators this year was the amount of rain at a vital time. On the other hand...I have loads of voles, moles, squirrels, birds and deer! One more thing. Could you get yourself a cheap battery operated strimmer? It was a life changer for me.
