Good job making it happen Fitzy on one of those days ! No net ……. no worries. It was definitely a cluster but you got it done despite. Number two was a fattie ! What a gut ! Keeping tabs on the weather up home while we’re in AZ and yesterday in Danbury it was supposed to be 80 ! Hope ya get out a few more times.

One of my biggest carp ever, I had decided I would not put the net together since I was fishing a small fish swim and I would just unhook them right in the water. Then I had to navigate a fish over 35lbs directly into the weight sling. Fun, fun, fun. Nothing like pressure when you know this might be a PB and you're trying to figure out how to land the fish with a method where you can both protect it and weight it.

Haha it's always the case, when you're the least prepared, that's when Murphy show up and throws you the unexpected. I'm surprised I didn't hook into my PB, only to lose him trying to get him into the sling. Glad yoi gor yours though James! Thanks buddy.

I use a 3 inch hair rig so it's closer to the method, no tangles on the cast,
