Your love of nature produces such beautiful and unique results. Even the way you stroke the leaves and their imprints is inspiring. I love leaves, too. I collect and press them everywhere I go. You are an artist and a scientist. Perfect! 👏😍

I can’t believe how you just whipped out these plaids. Amazing, beautiful, love the chart. My printer broke this week so will have to come back for that. I just mashed up some grapes , blueberries and cranberries and cooked them down. Can’t wait to see how these turn out if the wind ever stops blowing.love these papers. It’s nice to have some yellow sometimes and the more avocado color really came out nice. So fun to experiment. Thanks for sharing ❤

You’re so welcome! I’ve recently experimented mixing yellow grapevine dye with black grape juice and ended up with a nice green. Adding copper made it even nicer 😊

Dragana your creations are always so unique, beautiful and amazing. I often wonder if you are a scientist posing as an artist? Thanks for sharing all your experiments with us. Hugs and stay well.

You’re so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it. Oh, I am definitely not a scientist 😆. I guess I’ve learned the logical and analytical thinking from my dad who taught me how to test and question everything. He didn’t have a single creative or esthetic bone in him, totally opposite to my mom who was very artistic and driven by emotions and intuition most of the time. 😊

Awesome Dragana, love the colors!! 💜💜💜 Yes, because of your previous video testing out your avocado leaves, I now have a bag hanging on my exercise bike, for leave from my tree... I mean seriously, what else does one use an exercise bike for, lol. 😂🤣😂 Going to the lake this weekend, going to see if there's any leaves left on the grape vines. 🤭 It took forever to take apart an old cord to get the copper wire out, so may have to text brother-in-law to see if he has any pieces I can use, they have an old victorian house, so maybe there's a few pieces laying around, lol.🤔 I have a Purple Shamrock plant (purple Oxalis) that I just transplanted into 2 pots. I saved all the leaves and stems that fell off and ran one through the Sissix, it was way too wet but the colors were amazing, blues and greens. So I boiled the rest today and dyed some envelopes and paper, that dye looks to be an olive green color, will spray with a little iron water in the morning to see what I get. I love dying paper and trying out different dyes and techniques, and appreciate the fact that you inspire me to give other things a try, thanks so much, awesome video!!!🥰

What type of paper did you use to compair the colors??
@Saacibo2 күн бұрын
I used smooth drawing paper 250gsm in the video. In my previous experiments I used watercolor paper 300gsm. Drawing paper is a bit easier on my markers than the rough watercolor papers because they tend to soak a lot of ink.

Hello Dragena, What does 'Saacebo' mean in english?
@Saacibo2 күн бұрын
Saacibo is not an actual word, it’s an acronym that I originally used for my website. I ended up using it as my pseudonym. In addition, the letters in the word have some personal meanings to me, like initials of the people I love and similar 😊
