Those west branch fish will SCHOOL you! A difficult river but the payoffs can be huge. Definitely my favorite fishery in the east. Great video!

I agree those trout can be tough but when you figure them out it is so rewarding. Thanks for the comment

@deaddriftoutdoors2940 Absolutely, it is almost always a matter of sizing down tippet and flies! Nice job out there!

Got skunked last weekend. Saw two guys using a weird long modified bobber just killing it though. I wasn't up for the challenge last Saturday. Watching this video makes me happy. You kept pushing on and met the challenge!

Thanks man that means a lot. I was pretty defeated after losing that monster and not getting it on film, glad I stuck around for some rising fish. I really appreciate the comments!!

Hey! I love your videos and was just wondering if you would show your flies as you fish for educational purposes?

Great videos and channel. I am in your neck of the woods also have a place on Seneca. Wanted to ask about your video footage set up. Looks like you use combination of newest go pro hero and your cellphone? Do you have multiple go pros going? Also what video editing software do you use? Great stuff.

So I have a GOPRO 8 shooting 2.7K 60FPS on my shoulder strap, then I also have an old GOPRO4 that I use as backup or on my net shooting 1080 60FPS. Everything else is my Iphone 11 Pro shooting 4K. I leave the main GOPRO running and use iphone for release shots/interviews/scenery. I also have a small Panasonic Camcorder I use mostly for hunting. I am considering upgrading to a mirrorless/DSLR for the handheld footage (scenery and interviews), maybe santa will hook me up (a drone would be cool too..). Im just using Imovie at this point but plan to upgrade to more powerful editing software in the future but Imovie is easy and free! Hope that helps, hit me up with any other questions.

Ok. I am assuming you have Mac cpu because of the iMovie editor you are using?
@deaddriftoutdoors29404 жыл бұрын
@@troutbum101 Yeah I upgraded from a 13" 2012 macbook pro to a 2019 16" mB Pro and it makes a huge difference in editing. I was having trouble processing the higher resolution videos on my old mac.

Browns do not jump especially 3 times you had a rainbow by all means
@deaddriftoutdoors29403 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting. Although in general I would say that browns in some streams are not common leapers and rainbows are certainly more apt overall to become airborn, browns on the Delaware and many many other streams jump all the time. It is a total myth that they do not jump. There are dozens of videos of browns jumping in my videos. Here is a good example at 9:20 mark on one of my first vids on the Delaware. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4LOoYBjZdpkqsU Here is a big wild brown on a small creek leaping at 10:15 kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3WalHSVpLCkiLM I could probably give you 20-30 examples just from my videos. Thanks for watching and commenting!
