Even if royal life was hard, was not for her, if you are not born into that life it is hard, they are not cruel and evil but standards are very hard. It is understandable. It's hard work. They do lots of charity work, meeting lots of disadvantaged people in the society, it will take a toll on their mental health so psychotherapist and doctors are always on hand to help them. It is not just tiaras and branded clothes and mermaid in disneyland like some thought. Hence, the runaway in less than 2 years.

Diane, Edward and Sophie are full-time working royals. Peter and Autumn are private citizens. What exactly do you think they were doing for the Monarchy? Sadly, Peter and Autumn have been separated since last year, so you will hear even less about them, than you have already. As for Edward and Sophie, they're low-key and under the radar now because they aren't really the media's focus anymore. They aren't deemed newsworthy enough, so they're simply ignored, most of the time anyway.

As a Canadian, I do hear it. It's not obvious, but it's not Canadian. She has softened her "r's" and some of her "a's" are coming out differently. We also don't say things like "it's all good fun!". I suspect they feel more sophisticated talking this way. I know I would do it if I lived there. Watch for Markle in about a year to two year's time.
